This place doesn't look much from the road. I ventured in to ask if they did takeaways as I didn't fancy eating out by myself (business trip). I ordered your standard Thai takeaways - curry puffs and phad Thai. Curry puff filling was tasty, I was a little disappointed with the pastry. Phad Thai again was tasty but the chicken... More

Next door to my hostel, great way to start my gap year, very reasonably priced, quick service, great tasting and wide enough variety. Definitely be back.

Had dinner here after walking y and looking for something for dinner. We remembered having dinner here a few years back and enjoyed the night. Walking in we were disappointed with the tired run down look. There was a car park parked in the middle of the outdoor courtyard out door eating area. So disappointing. Such huge potential outside. Maybe... More

Loved this place so much - it was near our hostel so we ate here one night - cute little place and we sat outside with heat lamps. The Mussaman curry is divine and the lemon (lime) iced tea was beautiful too.

I'm not quite sure who eats here. The food is so insanely spicy it almost blew my head off. The decor is pretty uninspiring. I just don't get this place? Their sister restaurant Spice I Am up the road is much better.

We wanted to enjoy lunch before heading off to a show and found House. This unassuming restaurant, just around the corner from the Capitol Theatre, away from the hustle and bustle of George street packs a punch of flavour. Issan Thai food, wonderfully exotic, really cheap - prices range from Aud8-Aud16 on the main menu and up to Aud27 on... More

If you like your Thai on the spicy side then House is just wonderful. All the food was very fresh and well prepared. The services was terrific and the beer nice and cold. Loved the grilled pork skewers and the Massamam curry was a highlight!

Would definitely recommend the beef strips (Nua Daed Deaw) to start, the sauce (Jim-Jaew) is the perfect accompaniment. Soups are well presented and although the serving size doesn't look too generous the chicken curry (Aorm Gai) was very substantial/thick - and satisfying - good flavours, perfect (chilli) heat The crispy cat fish salad (Yum Pla Duk Fu) was probably our...
