Would definitely recommend the beef strips (Nua Daed Deaw) to start, the sauce (Jim-Jaew) is the perfect accompaniment. Soups are well presented and although the serving size doesn't look too generous the chicken curry (Aorm Gai) was very substantial/thick - and satisfying - good flavours, perfect (chilli) heat The crispy cat fish salad (Yum Pla Duk Fu) was probably our... I had lunch with friends at "House" after reviews on TA and we were delighted. Comfy seats and prompt professional service. Thai being my least favourite asian food I totally loved this. Give it a go.

We had fond memories from a couple of previous (over two years ago) visits. A big disappointment this time of this unusual brand of Thai food that the House has on offer. The lovely flavours experienced on previous visits were gone and the service was a bit lackadaisical too.

Sit on a stool on the street and the bar is right there. Craft beers and entrees were great. Service won A1!

We decided to go to this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and it had good reviews. When we entered we thought it looked very pleasant and modern. Things quickly derailed once we were seated. Being a group of five people we were looking to order a fairly decent meal. The first issue was that the server does... More

Great Thai food from House. We just chose a few random dishes for our takeaway and loved them all. Delicious!

My wife and I were in Sydney overnight on Saturday, 13th September. We wandered downhill from our hotel and found "House", a Thai restaurant attached to an inner city pub. The crowd was low-moderate at 6:30pm and we were seated inside immediately we requested. Water and glasses and a menu arrived in the next half-minute. Seconds later, a second waitress... More

This restaurant is laid back with most seating outdoors (with heaters). Food is delicious and reasonably priced - around $20 per main meal. There is a large menu to choose from. Our food came within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Cash only for payment. Just around the corner from Rydges Central hotel. Well worth a visit.

This Thai experience is NOT TO BE MISSED in Sydney. This serves some of the best Northern Thai Food I have had. Not this is not your typical drunken noodles and red curry, the flavors will be more on the sour side of the spectrum. That being said, they are wonderfuly deep, complex, and unique. Take your tastebuds on a... More
