I came in here for coffee one morning and decided to return another time for breakfast and have now been back several times. The Eggs Benedict is great, lovely sauce, generous helping of parma ham and mushrooms. I have also tried the pancakes with berrieswhich were also very tasty. This cafe is always busy on the weekend and its not... More

Lovely hip decor, the rhubarb porridge is a bit too sticky for my liking - but satisfied my GRØD nostalgia. Power points available.

We had breakfast here on the weekend - if it had been just me eating then my review wouldn't be great. My "eggy crumpets" was a poor choice - nothing to do with a crumpet but everything to do with hard kind of scrambled eggs in the shape of a crumpet and worse was that it was not hot. others... More

Fantastic brunch cafe with friendly service. I had the prosciutto eggs and they were delicious. Not overpriced like many cafes at home in Melbourne. Fresh juice was lovely too.

Food, coffee and service all impeccable. The flavors burst in your mouth, the baked eggs in the tomato sauce was spot on. Who knows how they serve up such good food at such reasonable price. Just what happens when simple food is done well, can't wait for our next visit. Highly recommended.

Fantastic first (and definitely not the last) visit to Clipper cafe. We tried the prosciutto eggs as well as the Prosciutto roll and both were great. Being backpackers, we found it more than affordable, with food and coffee for two people coming in at just over 20 dollars. Chilled atmosphere in there and we were made to feel very welcome... More

Baked eggs with napali sauce was interesting and appetizing. 1 is good to share between 2 and perhaps get the Gluten-free pancakes as well. Coffee was great but it would be better if it came in bigger sizes.

I must say walking into the cafe it was quaint, warm and inviting. Staff are friendly. Positive things- the freshly squeezed juicies are great and refreshingly different, as well as the eggy crumpets with bacon. A few misses I don't know if the staff know the different between a chai latte and a chai tea latte... I asked for a... More

Staying in Glebe

Neighborhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
