Our daily early opener social coffee is consistently fabulous. We love the attentive service. Smashed Egg is delicious.

One of my local favourites. The owner Hashem makes us always welcome. Coffee is consistently good & you can't pass by the ricotta pancakes

The food was excellent - the poached eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. Ingredient concessions and changes were made with a smile. The service was sprightly and helpful. The coffee was made as ordered. My new fave cafe in Sydney's Inner West!

We had a lovely dinner here. The food was great. How do they get the octopus so tender? The lamb meatballs were also great. We had sharing plates so we all had a few different things and all were good. Service was very knowledgeable and and fast. Would definitely return.

We have come here couple of times now, the breakfasts are amazing, great produce and new twists on old favorites. Very tasty and now a local favorite. We came here for dinner recently and had a lovely meal, it was a tad pricey but perfect for a romantic dinner. We will keep coming back here, awesome food!

I've given Plunge a pretty fair opportunity to prove itself. The first time I came for late lunch was one of three diners in the place. I ordered straight away and almost enjoyed my coffee (what's with the brown, dirt-looking sugar?) and then waited...and waited...and waited. With zero follow-up from the 2 service staff I ended up deciding to wait... More

Sat down without looking at the menu - big mistake. As we had already ordered a drink we ahd to go with it. Was expecting sandiches, light salads etc but it was all heavy, expensive non-lunch type stuff. Had the lamburger ($18!) but was too rich for my daughter, and weighed down on me all afternoon. My wife chose the... More

I wanted to take my visiting sister somewhere good for breakfast.Being a local first choosing Muse but it was closed. Not to worry so many cafes in Summer Hill. Next choice Plunge Cafe. What a mistake and never again. I could not beleive they charged me $19 for poached eggs, spinach and mushrooms no toast. The same thing is on... More

As a local I am very familiar with all the cafes in Summer Hill, having visited them numerous times over the years. 'Plunge Cafe' is the only cafe in the area that I avoid because the service is terrible (rude & arrogant) and the coffee is almost always burnt. There is so much choice in Summer Hill for good coffee... More

The baked eggs...second best breakfast I've had. Only behind the breakfast at Stefano's (in Mildura). Coffee...awesome. Whenever I'm in Sydney for work. I make the detour for Plunge. Awesome.
