Dessert visit

Great desert place, very rich chocolate but oh so nice. Service was good, and got a table straight away at 8:30pm. Recommend for a dessert after a walk around the rocks to work off dinner

I visited this cafe on Australia Day prior to meeting a friend to watch the firework display. There was a sign saying, wait to be seated, but there was no one in attendance to seat you. Once. Inside, I ordered a chicken baguette and a cappacino. The cappacino arrived long before the baguette. The baguette was so dry that I... More

Visited here twice...two different experiences.. One on a wet rainy morning, hot chocolate made us glow inside as we braved it sat outside and people watched. Staff and service really good considering the weather. Second visit totally different experience sun shining and more people about, cooler drinks but staff and service stilll of a high standard. Different climes make interesting... More

Stopped here for a quick cuppa, the wife decided to change from her usual latte to a Guylian iced coffee smothered in whipped cream and chocolate. Her comments, the best coffee she'd ever had. Our party also commented on the quality of their drinks and the staff brought our a colouring game with coloured pencils for my granddaughter, excellent service... More

We were in Sydney for a few days and went here every single day. There are some amazing chocolate concoctions! The choice for coffee and chocolate lovers is the guylain special macchiato - it has thick melted chocolate at the bottom of the cup - divine!!

My daughter and I met with friends visiting from QLD and we all had a lovely time. The staff were lovely and accommodated our 4 little girls very well by supplying them each with a massive colouring set. This left my friend and I able to catch up and chat away without being interrupted too much, lol. The food was... More

Very disappointed with this experience. Each item is tiny and severally overpriced and the customer service was well below par. I would advise going to Max Brenner because you actually get what you pay for. We bought 4 milkshakes, a brownie and a small fruit/chocolate dipping plate and ended up paying $90. To say this experience was deplorable would be... More

Being in this location people can understand paying a premium price but with this premium price you expect a premium product served with premium service. This was not the case for us, service was slow and not very friendly, and our coffees were burnt and bitter. Cakes looked great but was very disappointed with our experience.

NOTE, I came here with a complimentary voucher for some of our bill. After an unpleasant experience with this (what I always understood) above average Chocolate and coffee emporium, I can confidently say that it was "just" a bad experience. I took my wife to the Darling Harbour Guylian café for lunch and they truly did not disappoint. We had... More

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighborhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to DJ's. Families can visit the Chinese Garden of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Australian National Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
