Great Japanese in a relaxed setting

Great Japanese food in a relaxed setting. Touch screen ordering eliminates the need to wait for service and food comes out promptly after being entered onto the touch screen. Large menu with pictures to help out even the extreme novices of Japanese food. Highly recommend the Angus beef and Yakatori.

Shouldn't compare with what's available in Japan, but I have to say that the food is only so so. But the place is quite lively, so could be good for a Friday party. Also good to introduce a non-Japanese friend different Japanese dishes. However, the miso soup cannot be instant. Please change that.

We've been here several times and returned on a Friday evening hoping to get a table as they warned of longer waits and no bookings would be taken. We arrived at 7 pm and got a table right away. The service is mechanical as you order from the 'Touchpad'. The food was very average on this visit and the Tuna... More

I came here with a large group and was very impressed. We were ushered off into a private banquet room where you can order your food and drinks using a touch screen . Food came out fast and was delicious and was the best sushi I have had out of Japan! It reminded me of holidays. Everything was great although... More

Busy periods: stressed out and flustered staff trying to get you in and out as fast as possible, foods all pre cooked and reheated (meaning some are cold on arrival), food comes out much later then usual (sitting on the counter waiting for waiters), a long line of customers waiting in a very limited waiting area. Quiet periods: friendlier staff,... More

We must have been here nearly 20 times now with friends, and family. It's great, quick, reasonably priced Japanese food. It's really clean, very professional and extremely tasty. Only down side is the staff don't speak english however because everything is ordered on screen it's no problem at all. Love the crab sushi and the wagu beef sticks and salmon... More

Great atmosphere, fast and friendly service, love being able to order electronically as you can order when you want instead of trying to get the attention of a waiter. The food comes out quite quickly and is fresh and delicious.

The attraction is the ordering ipad at the table. Not my preferred way to interact with people. However the setting is really nice, very Japanese and the food is really good too.

Me and my partner come to wagaya religiously every week . We have come to no the staff and always are welcomed. But.. The last couple of time there is a new man seating us he is very pushy and rude he always has a issue with us coming late. He rushes us to pay our bill and when we... More

We went on a busy day. Rolls, rice and Edamame were not fresh. Nice atmosphere. Would have expected more, based on TA reviews.
