The food here is terrific. Not your usual sushi/sashimi. Lots of interesting hot food and different sushi rolls. It's very reasonably priced, too. We've never spent more than $110 between two of us, even with loads of sake on the bill! It can get booked out on Friday/Saturday so you need to book. Other nights we have just walked in,... More

One of my favorite sushi places in Sydney comes with a certain high tech Japanese feel to it with the electronic menus. Service has always been quick and efficient even when they seem to have a full house.

Had a lovely dinner at Wagaya. They know how to make sushi. It all tastes great and we also liked the meat options. The whole concept is also very good. Ordering via tablet and being able to do and see everything you ordered and the costs is really great. Would recommend this place. Eventhough we did not have a lot... More

Apparently they don't take bookings but was asked if I had one when we arrived. Never mind when we finally did get a table (worth arriving early if it's Friday or Saturday night) it was great fun. We scoured the menu and then made our selection and in no time at all the delicious food arrived. Great fun and reasonably... More

Been there last Saturday evening for a birthday dinner, Great location, easy to find and get there by public transport or car, Saturday night was hard to find a parking spot around on surrounding street, nearby carpark is full by 7:00pm, coz it's in the vicinity of Sydney Chinatown, distant walking or public transport is recommended. No lift to the... More

Surroundings: Slightly industrial, awesome warehouse vibe, low and calm lighting, private seating, dark and cool surfaces. Great location, easy to get to. Service: Electronic menu, you don't have to try and flag an attendant, fast and accurate waiters - the set up of the ordering system changes up the restaurant experience, and I found it led me to focus more... Delicate fine scallop salmon California roll, yummy yakitori chicken skewer, delicious dragon roll and assorted tempura so fresh & tasty. Fine Japanese dining. Devine & modern resturant.

The service is incredibly fast, the menu is endless, very hard to find something to complain about. The only restaurant in Sydney that serves food until late night. Absolutely perfect. Worth of the extra price.

All the dishes were so fine, even our cocktails. Nice decoration and good customer service. The restaurant didn't feel very Japanese though, and we paid hefty.
