A friend and I ate here on a quiet week night. We each ordered the mixed plate for $32pp and whilst the food was generally good, I felt it was a bit expensive. There was nothing particularly amazing, just your average lebanese selection - hommous, baba ganoush, a single falafel, tabouleh, a couple of skewers and bread. Being one of... More

This restaurant is disgusting. I am Lebanese and I eat lebanese food almost every day. It is the worst place I have ever eaten in. It is dirty and the food is not fresh, the service is bad and the manager, Mohammed, is not nice at all. Avoid this place, trust lebanese opinion, it is far away from the authentic... More

Lovely food with a good selection of tasting plates - all very authentic. Belly dancer was a lot of fun and everyone in the restaurant got into the swing of things. Service was attentive and very quick - our waiter could not have tried harder to make our meal an enjoyable one. The restaurant was busy with two large groups.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night, it was quiet when we first arrived but it soon filled up with couples, friends and a birthday party. Our waitress was a little inexperienced, must have been her first night but one of the managers/owners soon came to her rescue. We had the best hummus we have ever had and the... More

I normally don't write negative reviews, bit in this case I will make an exception. My colleagues had been to this place earlier and had got really bad service. However, they said the food was pretty good. We had a confirmed reservation for 7pm on Saturday. When we reached, there were many empty tables. The hostess showed us to our... More

4 of us had a good meal here.Very tasty lamb dish and others had varied meat platter which also went down well.Decent bottle of merlot.Service was helpful and friendly enough.Found the inside a little cold. Some kept jackets on as a result.Fairly expensive but everyone loved the food so felt worth it. I would recommend it and go back.Cheers.

I have just moved to Newtown and my flatmate and I decided to wander our local section of King St looking for some take away food for our dinner. We came across Arabellas and were immediately struck with how busy it was for a Sunday night... this is a very good sign! The manager was super friendly and they were... More

It's not often I take the trouble to write about a restaurant. Unfortunately this is to warn people to stay away. This was undoubedly the worse Lebanese food I've ever had. The meat was dry and tasteless, there was NO atmosphere and it was outrageously expensive.

I have eaten here since 2008, and the quality has never diminished. Be it a takeaway falafel roll or a banquet, it has always been magnificent and the staff congenial, above and beyond. We had a birthday dinner there last evening, and as always, the food was magnificent and bountiful; what set it apart though was the attention to the... More

We have eaten at Arabella's over many years and feel it needs a pat on the back for consistency. We are yet to have a bad meal here the food is extremely tasty and fresh, the staff are very efficient even when the restaurant gets busy. Also it's BYO so if you want to bring that special bottle of wine... More
