We purchased the Family pack and got beautiful grilled Hoki (at no extra cost) crispy battered fish pieces, perfectly cook chips and plastic cups are available to share the bottle of soft drink. There was a wait but to us that is a good sign. If weekend or holiday then be prepared for a wait as it is popular.

After visiting Muttonbird Island we came here to shop for dinner. They had lots of choice on that day. An endless array of fresh seafood and fish. We bought some shrimp, oysters, a whole fish and some fish fillet. All fresh, not frozen. And it came together at less than 20$ ... which is a bargain for the amount we... More

The fresh seafood on sales doesnt look fresh or attractive, the one at woolsworth looks better. The hot food queue was misleading, tried the fish and chips and threw it away after a bite, rather waste my money than fill my tummy with rubbish

have been here before and it has been ok but never go on a public holiday during school holidays. on seeing many people waiting you would think that the food was excellent, but that was dissapointing. we waited over an hour for fish and chips, many people were upset with their order. it certianly wasnt worth thewait.

Decided to pick up some fresh oysters, scallops & prawns for dinner to watch the footy grand final in our apartment. We were not disappointed. FRESH & TASTY. Highly recommend you go get some when your next in town. Marina is lovely to walk along too.

line up was big, we thought that must have been a good sign.... disappointingly the only local fish available was flake everything else was imported. the calamari was frozen but ok, chips were ok. It just really annoys me when the trawlers a moored outside and you have tp eat frozen fish. will never be back

Down at the harbour near the end of the road, look for the blue building. Good idea - selling fresh seafood straight off the boat. You can buy fresh fish to take home for cooking - plenty of variety and prices seemed good, or you can do what many were doing when we visited - buy it already cooked. They... More

As a local it's pretty dissapointing you can't get a reliable selection any better or better value than the supermarket. The fish caught by the local trawlers are good... As for the imported stuff, pretty hit n miss.
