The chocolate at Koko black is excellent - the chocolate to buy, the hot chocolates and the desserts are all really delicious and nicely presented. The price is reasonable considering the high quality of the items. Koko black is only let down by the service. It can take a while to get noticed and served and the table service is... More

Service could be better but mmmm who can argue with a specialist chocolate place. Sometimes hard to get a seat. Chilli hot chocolate has a definite kick. mmmmm

This place is a must to enjoy coffee, desserts and the best hot chocolate varieties ever. Try the chilli hot chocolate. The tasting plate is also a must. Great venue for after movies treat. Highly recommended.

If you are like me and love good chocolate this is a place for you to visit and try one or two. Their chocolates are not cheap but they are worth every cent. My favourite is Raspberry Puree in dark Belgian chocolate. It is divine. I only need 2 of them with a cup of espresso and I feel energized.... More

I like the chocolatey goodness on offer, the hot chocolate is to die for. The service - less so. I have never been so determinedly ignored by a waitress before...and in Canberra, this is saying something. There were two people waiting to be seated and she ignored us. Or rather she made eye contact, realised we were there, and then... More

At risk of a chocolate overload if you have hot chocolate AND something else chocolate. But can you get enough? I chose the chocolate tasting platter which is fantastic - a bit of everything. Great service.

if you are going for the chocolate, it is well worth the cost. Think quality ='s cost. If you are going for a coffee though, there are many other places who do it better and cheaper.

I have been here a few time and have never had a problem. Everything i have had off the menu has been delicious. I would recommend this place for people who love chocolate or wanted to have a nice little date or catch up.

No doubt about it - if you love chocolate, you'll love Koko Black. Came here with the family over the Easter long weekend. Shared a chocolate board, that included ice-cream, chocolates, mousse etc. incredibly good experience. But I agree with other reviewers regarding service at the Canberra store. It's really poor. And when you consider the quality of the product... More
