Great entertainment for the whole family especially with the kids. We were here on a Tuesday night and it was packed. Beautiful food, nothing too much trouble. A must when in Canberra!

Shogun was OK. The Japanese beers were cold and fresh. The sushi was OK. Not inspired but tasted fine. I usually eat at Coo when in town but found it closed. It is hard to give Shogun more than 3 stars but it was OK.

Well this is not really a complaint, more of a winge. Food tasted fine and was presented beautifully, but if you are looking for a meal... This is not the place, there was so little actual food we had a hot dog on the way home. And the price!!!

The whole time I was there, waitress never smiled nor asked whether everyithing was alright. Food is average. There are many Japanese restaurant in Canberra more deserving of my money. Will never go there again.

We had a big day at the snow and was looking for somewhere nice to eat. I feel like eating rice so I took my family to this restaurant. We were so high and happy after a fantastic day at the snow. But our luck has run out. The waitress was so rude! Sneering all the time. We actually feel... More

Surprised the wife here with some friends for her birthday and we booked in for the Teppenyaki. Firstly the atmosphere was ok bit the restaurant could be a little more uplifting in this respect. Service was quite good although they did forget our desserts but quickly responded when they discovered they had overlooked the desserts. We ordered the Kuki course... More

For lunch the bento formula is ok. With a drink it's around $20 and you enjoy a good meal. If this is not one of the best japanese in Canberra it's convenient.

It was horrible. I ordered teriyaki duck and it was over cooked and burnt. Told the waitress and when we went to pay and the owners didn't care. DO NOT GO THERE. Unsure why this place is still operating, over priced for what you get.

It has been many years since I last dined at this restaurant (I am thinking at least 20 years). It used to be one of only 2 Japanese restaurants in Canberra, and I remember being blown away by the whole concept of Japanese food. Thankfully, Canberra's food scene has evolved enormously over the years, but I don't think that Shogun... More

I ate here many years ago and it was truely fine taste... nevertheless it was too expensive for a highschool student. Came back here again not long ago with a colleague for lunch for Bento. Everything was good except of our Tuna. It was clearly off, the colour had turned brown, it was slimy and doesnt smell too nice either.... More
