Great selection of lunchtime specials, staff quick with a smile. Love the satay beef noodles! Always a table at lunchtime.

Tucked in amongst a strip of restaurants along Giles Street, Madame Woo is clearly a local favourite for take-away on a Friday night. Also, offering dine-in, BYO is $7 per bottle. The menu is extensive and reflects the talents of chefs from Malaysia, Thailand and China. The house specials are good picks and include: Roast duck spring rolls with Hoisin... More

Very good service, well priced and fresh. The lunch menu was great at only $12 a dish, and a glass of wine $3.00.

Cosy and relaxed, this is the perfect place for a quick or more leisurely Asian meal. Congratulations to the owner.

Just had the Padang curry for take away - was outstanding! The beef was very tender and the curry was very tasty. I will definitely get this again.

But it has changed hands and the old lime coconut chill chicken favourite just isn't the same….missing the coconut bit. The salt and pepper anchovies were good (and so they should have been at $27 medium plate). Good quick friendly service but has moved in to the Ok category as far as the food goes….

Food gets five stars and the service was friendly and personable. Madam Woo hasn't the slick interior design of some surrounding restaurants but if you want a good feed and friendly hosts, I highly recommend this place. If Padan Chicken is on the entree menu, be sure to give it a try!

This is our go to restaurant for take away Asian. Consistent food at good prices and good quantities. Staff are always great and attentive. One stir fry dish and rice will usually be more than plenty for my partner and I. Recommend the satay chicken and pad Thai. The restaurant itself is quite basic, but if you're after a quick... More
