Food gets five stars and the service was friendly and personable. Madam Woo hasn't the slick interior design of some surrounding restaurants but if you want a good feed and friendly hosts, I highly recommend this place. If Padan Chicken is on the entree menu, be sure to give it a try!

This is our go to restaurant for take away Asian. Consistent food at good prices and good quantities. Staff are always great and attentive. One stir fry dish and rice will usually be more than plenty for my partner and I. Recommend the satay chicken and pad Thai. The restaurant itself is quite basic, but if you're after a quick... More

Don't ask for substitutes or extras! I asked for prawns instead of chicken with my noodles and got 2 prawns costing $4 extra. Noodles were average, best to go elsewhere.Don't ask for substitutes or extras! I asked for prawns instead of chicken with my noodles and got 2 prawns costing $4 extra. Stopped here for take away. It was very good, quick, and hot. I will certainly be back. My only negative is the $20 minimum for use of a credit card.

Stopped in for lunch. While the soups we ordered were hearty and loaded with noodles, veggies and beef, the spicy chicken was bland. The reviews had set us up with high expectations, that unfortunately were not met.

Good food, but restaurant itself is pretty basic amd from Winters past you need a warm jacket to eat there as with the door always opening it gets cold. I recommend takeaway.

We ordered your average Chinese Food e.g. Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Curried Prawns etc and were really surprised at how nice everything was. Was a little hard to get what we wanted across on the phone, as we didn't have their menu and wanted Take Away, but we ended up with the right meals, so all good :-)... More

We have been dining at this Thai restaurant for three years and just about to leave Canberra and this what we will miss the most. If in a hurray you can be in and out in 30 mins, if you want to party they have the room, casual dining inside or out, if you like Thai this place is a... More

We called in hoping for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised by the caring service. We noticed when any one arrived with a bottle of white wine an ice bucket was delivered to the table automatically. This is definitely not the norm any more. Our food was most enjoyable and refreshingly different to what we expected. The cost was very... More

We were staying accross the road and wanted a take away. Madam Woo was the obvious choice if only for the name! We had a curry and a char kway teow noodle dish. Both were of a high standard. The char kway teow had more than the standard 2 prawns often offered in this meal. We would definitely go again... More
