We came to this restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday. While the restaurant is small it is very cosy. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. The food was hot and delicious. I can say it was the best Mongolian Beef I have had to date. I would definitely come here again. This restaurant has also won several awards... More

The food here is OK Yum Cha, with the usual selections. The first time I went there it was OK, on this occasion (Father's Day lunch) it was very different. The service was appalling, the Yum Cha trolleys did not circulate adequately and despite repeated requests the trolleys did not come around often enough with enough variety. This problem occurred... After reading good reviews from people`s past experience with this restaurant I decided to go there for a Sunday lunch and was disappointed with the quality of food served. At the price that they charge I expected more and this is based on passed experiences that I have had from the Chinese cuisine.

We are never disappointed when eating at Ginseng. It may be an unpretentious and quite small venue, but the food is always great, and the service is usually very helpful. We shared duck spring rolls for entree: more costly than than the usual spring rolls, but worth it occasionally if you do enjoy the flavour of duck. The shantung lamb... More

Good authentic Chinese food and a safe (inexpensive) option for lunch. The restaurant is no frills but comfortable with reasonable service. We ate well and the food was full of flavour (we had noodles, sizzling chicken and chlli eggplant).

Great little restaurant, food was great, great wine, service a bit slow, we could have spent some more money, however no one asked us if we wanted dessert. Surf and turf something special, also wasabi steak to die for. Biggest issue is finding a parking space, next time we will get a cab.

This little gem of a restaurant serves some of the most delicious and authentic Chinese food I've eaten. There is a crispy lamb dish which is mouth watering and must not be missed.

We had an impromptu dinner out during the week and rocked up with no booking. We were a bit squashed but happy to have a table. The food was fantastic. The shantung chicken was great (made with chilli jam I think) and we had the surf and turf (sizzling steak, prawns and scallops). With a couple if glasses of wine,... More

My wife and I had dinner here last week and the food was while not exceptionally good was better than average. What we did like were the duck pancakes. I could have had more of them. We were there early so the service was quick and no hassles. The meal was not expensive and what we expected to pay for... More
