Average! Nothing special. Had breakfast&coffee. Expensive. Don't want to go there anymore for food.

Blue Olive Catering is always busy weekdays at lunch. It's not hard to see why with tables on the sunny sidewalk outside and inside tables attractively opening to the outdoors. Staff are pleasant and helpful and service was quick. There's a good range of interesting breads to choose from and fillings are helpfully grouped in tasty suggestions. We chose the... More

The Blue Olive is a great little place for a quick, affordable lunch - their variety of gourmet sandwiches is great (try the 'Blake) - yummo). I often meet friends at the Blue Olive for a quick lunch, and they have a varied menu, including free range chicken options. The service is generally good, no fuss, just what one wants... More

The Blue Olive is a good cafe for a sandwich and coffee. A good range of bread and filling options, and the coffee is pleasant. It is a good place to catch up with colleagues and share a simple meal. The cafe can get busy over lunch.

Wife and I went and bought the cafes highly advertised "New York "style sandwiches for lunch. Well talk about lack of any real content within the sandwich and they tasted like an old boot as they were so dry. To top it off two sandwiches at wait for it $19.00 - seriously you would expect something pretty tasty and good... More

...terrible service. I come here on average once per fortnight and I think everytime I'm here they spill my average coffee into the saucer without acknowledging it or offering to even give me a napkin. Then, on at least every second occasion they run out of the same type of bread each time. All of this would be ok if... More

I ordered the Big Ben and that was the best brunch I have had in Canberra so far. I have tried so many other places but no where can beat their Big Ben. Really worth the money! On a side note, service was just above average, took them at least 10 mins to get milk for my tea, and that... More

I had a little extra time for lunch today and so decided to stop by with a friend of mine for an early meal. I'd seen their blue cheese omelet on the specials board a few times but hadn't had time to stop and I have to say, it was definitely the right choice. My friend had the Boticelli sandwich... More

We were really impressed with this cafe. The service was the best I have had in Canberra - even though it was a lunch time rush. They were accommodating to changes in our booking and found a pram friendly location. Food was fresh and made to order - very large sandwiches! Zucchini salad was highly recommended! This is a great... More
