Visited over the Easter long weekend for dinner. Had a great selection of entrees and mains. Very well prepared and packed full of authentic Malaysian flavours. We were a party of five people and everyone was very satisfied with their dishes - ranging from seafood laksa, to beef rendang and the Bali chicken. Finished off with the simple but tasty... More

We fell onto this restaurant whilst walking around all the restaurants at Manuka, it was a bit of hit and miss to choose which one we would dine in. Am I so glad we chose Abells Kopi Tian. Agreed with the previous reviewer the Won Ton Soup was delicious. As were the Sate Chicken, veges, rice. All the food served... More

We visited over the Easter weekend and were recommended by Canberra friends to go here. Won ton soup was the best ever, satay exceptional, mee goreng unusual in a good way. Laksa would have been very, very good except for the bloke mistaking a chilli for capsicum, oops! Very good service.

I ate here several times during a recent stay in Canberra. This place is always busy so either get there early, make a booking, or be prepared to wait for a table. Everytime I turned up, I didn't have a booking but they were very accommodating and I generally had a table within 10min. My absolute favourite dish is "My... More

We started with spring rolls...a few other entrees & mains are on the menu that you see in many other places and they're priced appropriately. They also have a few imaginative dishes...we tried the chicken with a "salsa" - so more like a fusion style. Fortunately our other dish "eggplant & tofu" had a little more sauce as the chicken... From go to woe this dining experience was superb. Service was quick and friendly and professional. The food was tasty. We had some spring rolls and curry puffs, beef Rendang, chilli and basil lamb, chicken lahksa, and ling fillets. All cooked to perfection and fantastic value. The berry Panacotta was to die for. Manuka has many restaurants, but I would... More

Enjoyed wonderful tasty chicken curry with roti bread and glass of wine for $40. Not cheap but great flavour and good friendly service.

Consistent, yummy, good service and can always get a table - mostly! Good Thai/Asian food (love the entrees, especially the curry puffs, sometimes just have these for mains.) Although tables are outside, they use heaters and lovely rugs for the knees to make sure this is also OK to visit in winter in Canberra (the inside is small, so this... More

Not too expensive compared to other eateries in Manuka. Tasty, Asian cuisine. Good value, clean restaurant. I always eat there when in the area but there is also a nice Vietnamese place in the alley at Manuka which I had forgotten about and should have gone to instead. Both places are great though. Can't stand pubs that want to charge... More

Kopi Tiam is a great place to take the team for a business lunch. We tried the one of the banquets, which had two entrees and five mains. Great flavours and variety in the options, and all for $19.50. We left feeling satisfied but not bloated. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. Everyone left with a great impression of the...
