To start with: on a very cold Canberra winter's night, it needs some form of draft protection at several of the tables near the door. I did not appreciate having cold air on my back, as patrons came in and out. I was appalled to find my crispy duck had barely been (re)heated and to find it half-cold. I told... More

Excellent service. I was craving for century egg and eventhough the dish that I want was not on their menu, the chef accomodated my request. Also, pecking duck is to die for!

We had the banquet for 2 which was nice, not cheap at $45 each. Should have chosen individual meals. Spicy pork ribs sauce was not the best. But we enjoyed the good service, good coffee too.

This is my favorite restaurant. The service you receive is fantastic and could not be better. Try to go at least once a month. I have only ever ordered one dish that I wouldn't order again but that does not mean it was bad. The prices are average but don't mind paying knowing how good the waitress is. Great location... More

I'm forgiving, especially when it's cold outside and I'm hungry. And if we had just had the average but warming duck with egg noodle soup then I would have simply ventured back outside warmed and fed. But I hate being ripped off. We ordered an entree of prawn dumpling; 4 dumplings for $9.20 arrived in their small steamer. We were... More

Tried this restaurant on a chilly Canberra night and wasn't too disappointed. The food was fresh even though the rice came out a little cold for our liking but easily fixed with a zap in the microwave. The steamed dim sims were tasty and we ordered the sizzling garlic prawns which I think were a little bland and probably needed... More

Visited this place a few weeks ago with a friend. Food was good (especially the sizzling mongolian lamb..!! - really enjoyed that one), service was attentive and atmosphere was pleasant. Only downfall was the toblerone cocktail I had.. did not enjoy that one at all! So maybe avoid being adventurous with your drink selection.

Lovely, fresh and tasty. We stopped because of their cheap ($10-15) lunch specials and were delighted. The mixed entree were super fresh and cooked perfectly. I've never had such a light and tasty spring roll. My main dish was something I had never heard of, and never tasted, but I will again. Both my partner and I had prawns in... More

One day I ended up in here when I got caught in the rain (I had been planning to go to Timmy's Kitchen but I'm glad I didn't). The laksa was good - plenty of nice fresh prawns, veggies and mild spice - and lunch specials were good value. The service was discreet and pleasant and the restaurant was really... More

We have eaten here a couple of times and both times have been impressed. The service is always pretty good, the staff are on top of getting water on the table, taking drinks orders and then taking food orders. If it is a hot night, then there is outdoor seating so you can sit outside in the cooler breeze. The... More
