This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants anywhere in Canberra. Like most it has the australianised sweet dishes, but I can't go past the first page of chef recommendations which offers traditional hot pots (the yu xian eggplant is my favourite), really fresh seafood like the whole steamed... read more

Had a banquet here for a work luncheon. Had a variety of dishes and could not fault a single one. LOVE THIS PLACE! Can't wait to come back!

The food and service was excellent ! We enjoyed the all the recommendations from the kitchen and they didn't disappoint . The lucky wallets were interesting - pork belly in a dim sum the mains of stuffed eggplant and fluffy duck were full of flavour and excellent presentation.

Went here with friends from Sydney and they thoroughly enjoyed the food. Started with two old favourites the Stuffed Eggplant with Teriyaki sauce and Char Kway Teow, both still very good. We ordered two dishes that we hadn't tried before but will definitely be ordering them again. The deep fried chilli and garlic prawns and the Waygu beef rolls, both... More

A lovely Asian restaurant with an extensive menu of standard fare. The staff were attentive and the food was beautiful, fresh and good sized portions. The service was quick and the prices reasonable. We were so impressed we went twice and were not disappointed. As good an Asian restaurant you will find in Canberra.

We were just visiting Canberra and wanted somewhere to take our local family to dinner - no one had heard of this place but our family likes Asian Cuisine so we thought we'd try it. We ordered a selection of dishes that we put in the middle of the table to share and had a most amazing evening. The food... More

We had the banquet for 2 and the entree was a really nice plate consisting of Steamed Half Shell Scallop, Fried Premium Prawn Dumpling and Duck Pancake each. For mains we selected the Green beans with spicy pork mince and the salt and pepper king prawns. These were both very nice with the prawns the stand-out of the two. Nicely... More

What a lovely find on a Monday night! Excellent food particularly the shantung chicken which is one of the best I've had anywhere! Eggplant hot pot also a hit as were the duck pancakes. Really thoughtful service and good prices too! Got chatting when paying and forgot to leave a tip! Sorry girls!!! Here is a 'virtual' tip. Oh and... More

The food was very nice. The "special fried rice" was not that special, but the sizzling tempura fish was very delicious. Great menu variety and reasonably priced. Main thing I was impressed with was the friendly staff. We had our dogs so went to the outdoor tables before speaking to any of the staff, and the waitress was out to... More

My wife and I had a great lunch at Bambusa today. The service was quick, and the food was tasty. A good option for a quick sit down lunch in Manuka.
