At the time of our visit the dinner reservation times were either 6:30 or 8:00pm - we opted for the earlier timeslot. We ordered an array of dishes (for 5 of us) being a combination of entrée and main dishes and asked for all to be served at the same time - which was no problem to the staff member... More

A cold, well freezing, Canberra night was made much better by the food and the warm welcome received at Morks. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was yum. I particularly liked the entrees which were inventive with a bit of a kick. The massaman curry was the favourite of the bigger meals. Finished off by sharing the Homer Simpson dessert... More

A romantic dinner at the new location for Morks in Kingston. Quick and friendly service, excellent food and great wine list. I can highly recommend the sea scallops with pigs ear terrine, pork bun, duck red curry, pork belly and Helms Half Dry Riesling. Reasonably priced too!

I do not enjoy very spicey foods but Morks is an exception. The food is naturally very tasty and rather mild curries that do not make one reach for a jug of water. Visiting with a large group of work colleagues meant that the kitchen had to work hard to serve 40 people but the entrees and main courses were... More

One of my best Thai meal ever. I had the soft shell crab which came in a delicate and tasty curry, which was just superb. For main we shared the massaman beef curry and the duck curry, both delicious and as good as served in the best Thai restaurants in Bangkok. The massaman curry was unique in that it has... More

I had dinner here with a group of friends last week, one of our group having recommended the place. As there were 9 of us, we were able to try out many of the dishes on the menu, and everything was tasty and the flavours were a little unusual. We were all probably too busy talking to pay enough attention... More

Contemporary Thai sounded very tempting and I was really looking forward to the experience. I'd heard good things. We were encouraged to share three dishes off the menu in the category of small, medium and large, each category only had five dishes so not much to chose from and there was nothing in the large category that either of us... Hearing that Morks had introduced a new winter menu, we were not disappointed, What better place to have a fantastic Australasian infused meal right on the Kingston Foreshore. The new menu is designed for you to choose between small, medium and large plates and the idea is that each of the plates are a sharing plate (as opposed ot heir... More

Having dined previously at both Florey and shortly after the move to Kingston we booked to return with friends on a recent visit to Canberra. Sadly it was not the experience we expected. The first hint of change came when we couldn't make a 7 o'clock booking as they now have two sittings. We opted for 8 o'clock as we... More

We had a banquet dinner here for a large work group (20+ people). It was a great experience and the majority of the guests had positive things to say about the quality of the food. The staff were very attentive (I would hope so considering the amount we spent on wine) and I was looked after individually as a vegetarian.... More
