Busy thai, great food

A very busy thai restaurant on the Kingston water front. Fabulous modern Thai australian fusion food. Superb flavours. Efficient Service, maybe a little too efficient. Highly recommended for a variation from standard traditional thai food. Bookings essential as it is very busy, which is the good news. BYO wine which is further good news. $15 corkage per bottle.... we were two people for lunch on a Thursday. it was not crowded and service was excellent, The food is unusual, imaginitive Thai. The duck curry main was very good but the entrees were over priced for what was received. We had one glass of wine, 2 entrees and 2 mains for $107. The restaurant has a nice ambience, best... More

This was our first visit to Kingston foreshore after returning from living overseas. We walked past amorous and noticed how busy it was, and thought that was a good sign. We were lucky to get a table for four without a reservation. We were too busy catching up with friends to choose from the menu, so we just asked the... More

Soft shell crab is amazing, and you have to order their sorbet, great finish after meal. Location is good, near lake. Only thing is it's little pricy compare lots of dishes you can get from a simple Thai takeaway and it can be just as good.Dish like that should be cheaper. Dish like Pork belly, I will be happy to... While this restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent and the food delicious. It was lovely to get a modern take on Thai classics.

Had dinner here on Saturday night with my partner to belatedly celebrate his birthday. Reservations are a must on the weekend as they were turning people away in droves who didn't have reservations. The mustard leaf/shitake buns were amazing -- but at $6/each perhaps a bit pricey. The scallop and pig appetizers were ok but could have been served a... More

We used to go to Morks when they were in Florey so we were looking forward to reliving the experience in Kingston expecting to pay a bit more due to the location. Six of us were squeezed in to this noisy new location where we ordered the $48 banquet. We got about 2 to 3 bites each and were herded... More

Morks restaurant located on the Kingston foreshore, serves contemporary Thai dishes. On the day I had lunch I ordered the pumpkin wonton, panang curry as an entree and the pork belly, caramelised soy, mango,Thai herds as a main course. These dishes were 'to die for', a complete taste sensation, especially the pumpkin wonton. The serves were a good size and unfortunately... More
