We ate at Morks last night and were delighted with our choice! The food is fabulous, wonderful combinations of flavours, spices and heat. We started with wontons, which were crisp and light, the soft-shelled crab is to die for and the angel prawns concealed under terra cotta cups were sensational! We then moved on to The red curried duck -... More

I would describe this place as a bit trendy - beside the canal with a bit of outside dining and flash décor. Service was pretty good - polite and prompt. Very nice and varied menu - we actually could have ordered everything as it was all very interesting. I've lined up another visit for my birthday next week. There are... More

I enjoyed dinner at Morck's on two occasions towards the end of 2014. The food is high quality and while it probably is a bit expensive (especially drinks), the overall buzz achieved by the quality of the food, the location and the popularity make for a really enjoyable dining experience. The pork buns are a great starter!

Ate here with the family about 2 weeks ago. We got one of there banquets and the quality of the food was excellent. Everything we had tasted great. It was a little pricey but worth it when the quality is there. Would defiantly check out if your around the Kingston area.

I recently had lunch at Morks, my choices were for $28 Pork belly, caramel, kapi rice and apple salad. The size of this meal was not huge, which I like as I don't like leaving fabulous food on the plate. For desert we chose for $15 April’s Winter - Coconut granita, mango curd, milk crumbs, vanilla ice cream. This dish... More

Second time we have eaten at Morks. The food is just perfect. Yes a busy restaurant with lots of diners but this must tell you about the food quality. Service was quick and staff attentive, wish we lived closer.

Our first visit to a place cited as one of the up and coming restaurants in Canberra. First of all, it is hard to find... No signage at all in the street. We were seated very close to the servery and there was a lot of movement around our table which was somewhat disconcerting. So ... Get a seat further... More

I arrived with 4 others. Having squashed 5 onto a 4 person table the service was quite slow and we had to ask twice to order. One dish was also forgotten. The food itself was good with spicy bbq prawns and other seafood. The location was nice on the water. I will go back but not in a hurry.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Morks twice now since it opened on the Kingston Foreshore. We ordered the ‘Soft shell crab’ as an entrée and were very impressed with the flavour of the satay sauce underneath it and the crab being perfectly crispy. For main we shared the ‘Beef chuck stewed mussamun style with chilli bread’ and... More

Flavours were excellent, food creatively presented too, great craft beers available. Wine a bit expensive but otherwise all great.
