We went there for dinner, and had such a good night! Waiters were so polite and nice, food was excellent. Wine was reasonably price. Restaurant looked so neat and clean! And the traditional music in the background was just icing in the cake.

Went in for an early curry mid-week and were quickly given a seat by the window, which was fine. Taj Agra is not a fancy place but it certainly gets you fed quickly! We ordered (chicken rogan and a beef madras, basmati rice and a naan)and within 10 minutes, the food was on the table. Not sure if this was... More

The Taj Agra is a very genuine Nth Indian cuisine restaurant. They have a good range of the expected starters ranging from samosas to a variety of tandoori nibbles. The main courses range from the creamy curry variety to extra hot vindaloos all available with the usual condiments. They have all the usual dishes & some tangy vegetarian choices. It's a... More

I'm a regular at this restaurant. The food never disappoints but, on this occasion, the service did. The staff were deadpan in their interaction with customers and the food took a long time to arrive. There seemed to be no good reason for this delay, as the restaurant was fairly quiet. Mine host, who normally runs an impressively tight ship,... More

Attentive staff. Pleasant enough room. Great bread. Samosas had a lovely crunchy pastry but the filling was bland and stodgy. Malai Kofta was most disappointing with rubbery balls and bland sauce. Pakora was pretty tasteless and rubbery again with an ill-defined sauce. Pumpkin and coconut dish was good with a Persian pilau toasted flavour. $6 glass of wine was off.... More

The food was delicious and abundant. Great flavours and fresh ingredients. Large modern restaurant and several Indian patrons which was a good sign.

I attended with a large party for a banquet feast. I'm not a fan of spicy food but the nan (?) bread was great and a chicken dish was terrific. I am not going to criticise this restaurant for its food. I'm not the best person to do that. I will, however criticise it strongly for it's lack of service.... More

Called and ordered - whilst on the phone to the lady she took another call without putting me on hold. Continued to take the other persons order for 5 minutes. When she returned had completely lost our order and we had to reorder. 10 minute phone call for 2 dishes and bread. Butter chicken was nothing like I've ever had... More
