This place serves up consistently good food and is reasonably priced and fairly quick. Others have commented on the Laksa which is very good, I would also recommend the noodles. I've tried most of the noodle dishes on the menu and found them to be excellent. The staff have all been friendly and helpful. The only potential downside is that... More

The service was good and the prices were on par with similar restaurants. We ordered way too much food as the dishes were bigger than we thought they'd be. The staff gladly gave us take-away containers for the left overs. The food was tasty and well cooked. The laksa was fantastic, one of better ones I've had.

This place is renowned for it's Laksas. Being a frequent visitor to Malaysia, I am quite the critic. These guys def have the best laksa in Canberra! Every time I visit I am tempted by something new from their menu, but I just can't go past the laksa. Ps, I always ask for extra spicy & they bring me a... More

This is centrally located and easy to find. Its clearly very popular with people who seem to live here rather than just visitors. The noodle dishes we ordered were decent but really only 'adequate'. They served the functional need and left us marginally disappointed. The service was friendly and helpful in attitude though a little confused and dis organised. The... More

Ordered the very famous laksa. It was tasty indeed. Very good value too. And the place is always busy. Many other asian dishes to choose from too.

I honestly don't know how does this restaurant get such a high rating. The food is just average, laksa isn't authentic and the lady at the counter (I assume is the manager) was just plain rude when I went up to pay. She barely even tried to care that I exist, tossing my card back at me after I had... More

Civic Asian Noodle House is a great place for a quick lunch. The food is good, the price is reasonable and generally the service is very fast. When dining in for lunch, you have the option of ordering 1/2 size serves of some of their most popular dishes, which is great if you are just looking for a light lunch.

Reasonable food, surly service. I had Pho Tai, partner had laksa. Both were pleasant but rather bland. Service was very quick, about ten minutes, not what I expected from reading previous reviews. Decor was pleasant and good accoustics. Waitress appeared to have been struck dumb. Overall, OK but not memorable.
