Great limited menu, great prices, great waitress, great sunset view. Get there early if you want a table. Went back twice in a week.

The Chef Carl, is from Philly and you'd think he was born in Roatan the way this man prepares a meal. He makes the BEST Jerk Chicken Wings & Island Lime Pie I have EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! The vegetables he uses are a wide variety and prepares things for a vegetarian if he has to. Customer service is... More

Cal's was great! Try the garlic cheese bread appetizer - its unusual but delicious. My husband the group with a curry-based sauce - the seasoning was incredible! Our bill was about $75 (before tip) for 3 adults and 2 kids - 2 appetizers, at least 1 drink each, and a lunch entree each. The view is gorgeous too!

Cal's has great seafood and the presentation is like you're eating in a fine dining restaurant in a big city. We ordered the grilled lobster tails and the fish tacos. Excellent! Friends we were with ordered the fried lobster tails and I had a taste--also excellent. Nice breeze was blowing the entire time we were there and the view can't... More

We stayed in West End and made the trip to Cal's two days in a row. Cal's is a forty minute ride from West End but worth every minute. My two sons and I had some of the best food I have ever eaten. The view is unmatched as is the constant breeze. You feel like you are sitting in... More

Cals is one of the best values for fresh, delicious food on Roatan. We order the lionfish appetizer nearly every time. Haven't tasted better prepared lionfish anywhere on Roatan. Cals lobster is always fresh and the spicy version is addictive. We haven't found lobster this good at this price anywhere on the Island. We tried the chili rellano with a... More

My family stopped at Cal's Cantina following a scooter trip to Arch's Iguana Farm. I was a little suspicious at first as the clerk at the scooter rental shop had recommended Cal's in the same breath as French's 44, which we had been disappointed with on a previous trip to Roatan. All my skepticism faded with my first taste. The... More

When we flew down to Roatan, I asked passengers around me for restaurant recommendations. A few people said Cal's. He's only open on what I want to call cruise ship days, so no weekends, which is good for the owner but bad for anyone who misses those days. But this place really does capture the vibe of Roatan, which to... More

This is an out of the way place that has spectacular views. Meal was great and the price was just right! I had the Lobster which was grilled with a wonderful sauce, (most of the time you grill lobster, it's ruined, this was nice and tender and moist. Service was good and the view spectacular from the covered dining area.

I really enjoyed my dinner at Cal's! After reading so many reviews, we knew we wanted to try this place. I ordered the fish tacos & they were absolutely delicious (& not spicy), but I will say be careful what you order especially if you are sensitive to spicy food. My sister-n-law ordered the spicy beef tacos & after 1... More
