This open air - hill top restaurant - with a splendid view over the jungle to the sea - serves the most wonderful native lobster - conch and a full menu of both local items and things like burgers and salads- which we have never... Good food and great location when staying at the parrot tree plantation. The people in the restraurant were friendly. The clients were mainly americans so you felt the food was prepared safely.

It was a rainy day in Roatan, (Search under Cals+Roatan or E-Mail at Chef_Centerprises@Yahoo.com or thru Trip Advisor's e-mail) but it had stopped by the time we got to Cal's. Careful, they are only open Tuesday thru Friday. All seating is outdoor with some covered areas. On a clear day, this has to be a beautiful view. Lunch/drinks, appetizers, (I... More

Just got back from dinner at Cal's Cantina. EASILY the best meal we had on Roatan. My husband had fried lobster and I had grilled fish. We started with the jerk chicken wings. Just delicious and great portion size. Downright cheap, compared with the other meals we've had this week. They're open Tuesday through Friday only, from 10am to 8pm.... More

The reviews did not disappoint. From the jerk wings, chips & salsa, tempura fish sandwich, fried shrimp and grouper with banana/coconut chutney, all was over the top. Not to mention the gorgeous views.

I still dream about the last burger I had here. The food has really gotten very good. They use the salad greens from Blue Harbour and have quite nice cocktail choice with generous pour. The menu could be expanded to include more grilled options rather than just fried foods and burgers.

We a topped by Cals for lunch on the way to Oakridge. We had a grouper sandwich and the fish tacos. The fish was fresh and prepared perfectly. The prices were pretty "gringo" but still not to bad. I would go again.

My husband and I visited Cal's Cantina for the first time when we were on a cruise. Firstly, I was totally in awe by the beautiful and breathtaking view in front me. The food was delicious and mouthwatering for very reasonable prices. Cal's Cantina rocked my world! Definitely it's a 5 star rating.
