Great food, fantastic view

This is my third extended visit to roatan. Cal's is a hidden gem. We descended on this small place with a group of nine people, they handled our party perfectly. The service was polite and quick. The food quality is top notch and the view is..... well you've got to see it. Definitely give it a try.

We were rushed as we did not realize how early they close 8 pm. Wish we went earlier to soak in some of the atmosphere. Food was good. Would go back there

A group of us stopped by Cal's after a catamaran adventure in East Bay. We were surprised by the AMAZING view. It's a fun place to have some cocktails, perhaps some food. We had the spicy shrimp & conch - yum. Some of our group tried their hot sauce and really like it too. The service was good & the... More

We visited Cal's on December 16, 2015. We were really hungry after a busy morning at the iguana farm, snorkeling, and playing on the beach. There were 6 of us, and we ordered a lot of food. We got 3 appetizers - chips & salsa, and 2 orders of garlic bread. The kids didn't care for the chips and salsa... More

I actually visited Cal's 2 days in a row, as the first day I just went for the ride, but wasn't hungry. Next day I went back through a monsoon like rain to eat there, and wasn't disappointed. Talked with Cal a little as it turned out we were both from the Delaware area. Nice guy. Great food. Incredible location.... More

Lastly of all the location and view are to die for! Way atop the island with amazing jungle and ocean views. Set all that aside, and like our tour guide, Cleve, of Cleve's Tours and Adventures said, he'd buy us lunch if we ordered anything we didn't like. I didn't see anyone walk away without a huge grin on their... More

This unassuming-looking place has the best food! From starters to desserts, you cannot go wrong, fresh, tasty and a fun atmosphere, too! Friendly staff and fantastic views, 'local' expats starting conversations and telling stories - I would love to go back...

Fortunately Cal's is located on the East central end of Roatan or it would be swamped with tourists! Stay away! We want this place to ourselves. Best food on Roatan. Perfect tropical atmosphere with no pretense. So that means the service is sometimes quirky. Roatan is quirky; get used to it. I always see someone I know there, and I... More

Please stop there it is so affordable and the views are amazing. For 497lmp w/tax we got a delicious chicken sandwich with fries, nachos with chicken and two local beers. It was so good. Beware they are only open Tuesday thru Friday and they close at 8pm. So you need to get there early. Also they only take cash.
