Just go. Amazing views, decent staff, intense looking chef, pristine cleanliness, really very superior modern Mexican fusion food. Don't order the yucca chips though - chewy and odd. Otherwise spot on, and reasonably priced.

Wonderful, very tasty food! I dined there two nights, (Wed & Fri) Had lionfish w/potatoes & sauteed veggies $14. A local beer to wash it down and key lime pie to go! No lionfish on Friday, so I had to "settle for" grilled lobster tails, potatoes & veggies $17.50 Highly recommend the garlic bread appetizer $5 (enough for 4)

Our tour guide highly recommended this location as one of the best restaurants in Roatan. The service was excellent the food was outstanding, the views are breathtaking in the bathrooms are very very nice! We travel to Roatan once a month and had never been to Kells but heard it was great for seafood. I had the three lobster dinner... More

I've been here many times and its about time I write a review. The staff and owner are amazing, welcoming and warm. All the food is made in the kitchen. Home made corn chips, yes please. In house cured prosciutto with dressing, my mouth is watering thinking about it. The views can not be compared to anywhere else on the... More

Situated on top of the mountain, the view of the island is spectacular, the food even better! Incredible creamy lime sauce to complement spicy lobster...to-die-4 pork chops...and if you are lucky, coconut pie Or, Cal's banana cake is on the menu. Great food, moderately priced, not to be missed when in Roatan.

There really aren't a lot of restaurants on the east end of Roatan and we were excited to try Cals after reading all the reviews. The view from Cals is incredible and the food is beautiful but we were disappointed on the taste. I had lobster tails in garlic butter but they were just okay. No one at my table... More

Cal's is a fantastic restaurant. If you are going to Roatan, you have to stop by. The food quality is excellent. However, what makes this place so memorable is the view. It's set up high in the hills overlooking several bays. Absolutely the most beautiful view on the island.
