Nice food, a little bit busy

Visited the place for food and lunch on the Saturday, was not too crowded when I entered, but understand the wait was 90 minutes when I left. Would be nice for people to know what they want to drink before ordering, so when there are 15+ people in the queue, they do not have to wait ages for... read more

Fabulous old world art deco look - very cosy and comfy and pizza to please everyone. You pick your own toppings and the wafer thin base is just perfect leaving plenty room for scrumptious pudds.

We have eaten there a few times in the last year, and always enjoy it. The quality of the food is good, we like the menu, and the quantities are good value for money. They always have a good selection of beers and drinks. A wide range of people frequent this place which gives it a good atmosphere. The only... More

There is barely a week goes by without a visit to this fab pub. Top for atmosphere, food and drink... Definitely a favourite for us.

The Prince rupert is what we would describe as a country pub in a town. It is very pretty inside with a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. You can not fault this place. Live music on sundays, amazing Sunday roasts, authentic Italian pizzas, big juicy burgers.... I could go on and on...haha.Just fab

The Prince Rupert is a very nice ale house and meeting place. We called in yesterday (Friday) for a drink and something to eat. We ordered fish pie, mostly I have to say because it was described as being in a cider and tarragon sauce, I love tarragon.....I have never been so disappointed. The fish pie was not seasoned at... a nice old pub that has a lot going for it, some nice little rooms to explore well worth a visit, even though we had to wait a while at the bar as they was only one person serving.
