cosy pub with a warm friendly atmosphere. we were greeted on arrival and asked if we would like a drink in the bar or if we preferred to go straight to our table. We were looked after by a lovely young lady called Hannah. Nothing was too much trouble and she advised us on the menu and dealt with all... More

Lovely situated pub with a really warm feel to it, accompanied by nice staff. There was good selection of food on the menu and a good choice of drink behind the bar. The food was tasty and cooked well to what I requested (beef). I had the scallops which came with a fried boiled egg. I would recommend this dish.... More

Food was first class and a nice varied choice. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. A Thursday lunchtime and there must of been at least... More

We booked into this pub a few weeks ago after a recommendation by some friends and four of us went there last night. We were all a little disappointed to be honest. We arrived at a very nice looking pub and were greeted by a friendly lass behind the bar. The bar area was clean and tidy with a wood... More

Went for a Christmas lunch with my partner and found this place absolutely amazing. Was recommended by a friend of a friend who knows the owner and all I can say is well done. To anyone who is hesitant, give this place a try, you will not regret. I will be going back!!!!!

Having been a number of times before the new management came in, I was looking forward to seeing if the standards were kept. The place was bustling when we arrived which is a great start, the bar was busy and the restaurant was full hence only being able to get in for 08.30pm. A nice welcome and shown straight to our... More
