We went there for brunch with friends while in town. Cute little restaurant with great food. This is a awesome place for breakfast. You can eat inside or out and they have an old school bus they have converted into an eating space too. The home made bakery products are very good, you just want to buy one of everything.

We had a delightful breakfast as it should be. Fresh food, fresh air, good friendly service. Some quirky attractions to look at around the grounds. A really enjoyable time.

We had been looking forward to experiencing the Roost and stopped in one evening for dinner. The menu was interesting enough but the service, food, atmosphere and presentation were really just average. I might try going back for breakfast, but wouldn't go back for dinner.

It's a busy place so get there early for lunch. Fantastic fresh food, not a ritzy place by any means, but it has it's charm. Well worth a visit. We go here whenever we pick up someone at the airport.

We ended up visiting The Roost 3x during our 3-day Brentwood Bay stay. Fresh, local food was very good. The charcuterie platter was a favorite, as was the spinach & beet salad. We look forward to returning on our next visit to the Island.

It was pretty nice for a small bakery but the bistro didn't open until later than we were there so didn't get to try it out. Bought a few loaves of bread and a scone which were all very good.

A group us came to celebrate a birthday over breakfast, The food is always good here and that's why we were so pleased to be able to get a table for our group. There are multiple eating areas including a converted and redecorated school bus. They offer bottomless coffee and be sure to pick up a loaf of bread before... More

This highly popular place was a stop for us this week. We went just before noon to avoid the rush, but truthfully, I think its always busy. Our party tried the Montreal smoked meat and the meatloaf sandwiches. both proved to be very hearty meals. we also shared a side of the red potato salad and a brownie. both servings... More

When I think of all of the overpriced mediocre eateries around I feel blessed when I encounter a cafe like The Roost. You can pay much much more for much much more elaborate food but in my opinion you will never beat the Roost Farm Bakery. For home style food, cooked with skill and served with excellence you can't beat... More

Loved it here. Very down home feeling. Lots of great great baked goods, bread and serve all meals. The breakfast and muffin we had was very good. The atmosphere was very farm like and service was fast and incredibly friendly. We are from Toronto and will return when in the area
