Great local French bakery

Wonderful pastries, bread, and good sandwiches to go. Can get extremely busy, so you cannot be in a hurry or you will miss the experience.

If you find a line here (typical) you can find yourself still standing there 15 minutes later! And worse still, you can't even pay when you order and have to wait again to pay! We still go almost daily and sit on the "deck" and try and figure out the best times (depends upon which day) , and try to... More

Fresh baked pastries and breads. They close at noon so get there early before all the baked goods are sold.

A local place with counter service and a little outdoor deck, it's a must do for coffee and french food for breakfast.

Expected something great from the reviews - unfortunately does not rate with Geraud's. They can't handle the traffic and the croissants were heavy and chewy.

This bakery offers good homemade quality croissants. However, you better arrive at 7-7:30 in the morning if you some left and avoid ridiculous waiting time, but even at 7:45, the line was long and the service painfully slow. The person at the front kept going back and forth to the back room to pick up items and it seemed like... More

Pastry is right out of the oven and 'to die for'. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but when you see cars coming and going and lineups, you know you've arrived. Sandwiches, croissants, baguettes, coffee, pop etc etc. Has limited hours (check their web site) but it is so very worth the trip.

Best place around to have your "pain au chocolat" and "pain français". We went there every morning. Deserves a bigger terrasse and a nicer parking but everyone is friendly :) We would have liked them to have a broader ranger of products such as fresh milk or ham/cheese/jam but you have a conveninence store right in front of it.

Tried the plain croissants and fruit pastries (peach and blueberries). All were outstanding. Get there early or you're going to be standing in line forever. 4 pastries + coffee = $10. A real bargain on this very pricey island!
