We stayed across the street at the Kin Balam cabins, and since this is the only restaurant for many miles around we ate most all of our meals here. We tried many different things and the standouts were the veggie and cheese omelet for breakfast (perfect for a long day at Palenque) the chicken sandwhich, and the tortilla soup. The... More

We had breakfast and dinner there, each one twice. Both are very good. The portions are huge sometimes,eg if you order pancakes for breakfast you will get two very big ones that can hardly be eaten. Both the Italian and the Mexican food are delicious. There is life music and even a fire show.

My wife and I spent five hours in this restaurant after concluding our tour of the ruins. Granted it is the only full service establishment where we lodged, at the entrance road to the ruins, it was an enjoyable experience. Good ravioli, handmade pasta with shrimp, appetizers, drinks and live pleasant music -all of this for $590 pesos. Service was... More

Average food, average service. It will do, just take it for what it is, or you will be disappointed. Late night bar and live music too. It's just outside the main entrance to the preserve and ruins.

The food here is abundant and good. The pizzas are excellent thin crust. Fish was good, breakfast was HUGE! Service was very friendly. Went one night and they were packed and we still had our meal in 20 minutes, freshly made and hot. They really know what they are doing here.

We arrived to the screaming terrible noise of floor renovation. They were not able to find a table for us away from the noise, but promised it will only last for 10 min. Right… Of course it lasted until we were done eating. The most absurd thing is that they let the band play for 30 min while the noisy... More

When we arrived in the late afternoon of Dec 29, after visiting the gorgeous archaeological Maya site of Palenque, we were greeted with a nice band playing relaxing island-type music. We were seated pretty quickly and happy to find out that they had a wood-burning pizza oven in which they make pretty darn good pizzas. They have a good selection... More

Good atmosphere and the place looks great but it is really for those of a hippie mentality who frequent Palenque with their rasta hair and their clowns trousers. The place was very busy which meant the service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes just to get a drink. The pasta was bland and the pizza was sent back. Advertised as... More

There is a strange unpleasant smell when you sit there. The place looks great in the middle of the jungle. The steak was over cooked and assassinated by the sauce. Pasta was disappointing too and pizza was good.

Ate here Dec 31, New Years Eve For a place in the jungle, this isn't bad. You have to remember where you are. Not a lot of steaks, pizza or spaghetti to be had out here. Palenque may have tacos pastor, but after that it is bleak. If your intestines don't get beat up and the food tastes good, it's... More
