The only place at El Panchan that can boast 0 cases of good poisoning (according to the locals) makes a great spot to wile away a few hours of an evening after trekking round the ruins. Good food, great local live music and reasonably priced means it gets busy so it has a great atmosphere. Although food can be a... More

Looking for good atmosphere and cheap but good food? This is the restaurant for you in Campeche. Backpackers and yuppies mix up naturally with street artists and artisania sellers. Small bands or single musicians alternate playing live, and offering the possibility to dance. You can taste mexican specialties and ... Pizza! Cooked in a real wood owen. Personnel is corteous... I had the most amazing thin base pizza here. Very flavoursome and packed with topping. I can totally recommend the Palenque vegetarian pizza. They will do separate bills for big tables which is very helpful. The staff were quite slow in returning with change which was the only disappointment.

Don Mucho's has a lot to offer-live music, candle light, a small dance floor and good reasonably priced food. Arrive early or you will have to wait for a seat. However, in our experience they were terribly understaffed and the waiters we encountered were harried and not particularly polite. We had to wait an hour for the food to arrive... More

We had a good meal and the taste was good, but when we got the bill most of the prices we more expensive than what the menu said (and it wasnt part of the tip) not too much that would stand out but they added a little to each drink and dish. We complained and they lowered some of the... More

Don Mucho's must be Palenque's best restaurant. It is charming, open air with lots of fun activities, live music in the evenings, and constant hum of international travelers. The food is excellent especially for vegetarians. Everything is fresh and well prepared, from the Sopa Azteca to the pizza and the pancakes. A definite must do, probably every meal, while in... More

Every dish we have tried on their extensive menu has been delicious. We are vegetarians and there are many choices. Their ravioli and veggie pizzas are fantastic!

I don't expect much from restaurants in Mexico so was pleasantly surprised with the variety, quality and execution of the restaurant and menu. Place was packed, service was very prompt and quality of all the items was good. And did I say it was very, very reasonable. The entertainment was very cool. An overall outstanding experience.
