Just had a delicious meal at the Three Horsehoes. Scollops and Bacon. Roomy and welcoming, - great puddings too.

From the beautiful rose garden that greets you, to the beautiful views of the Harting Downs all around - this wonderful experience is then matched by the wonderful food (I had cottage pie with beautifully cooked veg), quick service, friendly atmosphere and ample size of the dog-friendly beer garden with those wonderful panoramic views to feast on while you eat.... The gardens are beautiful and the pub itself is really charming and original 'olde world'. The beer is exceptionally well kept and I'd walk many a mile to take a pint here on a summer's evening. The staff were polite and helpful and food was served very efficiently. My first meal, crayfish risotto was excellent, albeit just what I liked.... More

Worth it just for the views and cask ales. Warm welcome and beautiful rose garden. Everything a West Sussex pub should be.

Enjoyed the beautiful garden and views. They also have a good wine list. We decided to have dinner and although very busy pub we were surprised when we received our entrees that they had been microwaved.

The Three Horseshoes is a real traditional English pub nestled in the heart of West Sussex. It has the most beautiful garden with fantastic roses, a selection of fluffy chickens roaming and fabulous views of the South Downs. Great for walkers who want to use it as a start-off point. In winter there are open fires and all the food... More

Lovely small, village pub, stunning views of the South Downs whilst sitting in the rose garden eating lunch. Small selection of tasty food.

I first went here last Autumn with a good friend, but forgot to do a review. It is still excellent and the view from the garden is sublime. The roses are great too, but I only saw one of their famous dwarf chickens [fox attack??}. The beer and wine are well chosen and our mains of sirloin and salmon/prawns were... More

We had lunch with some friends and we all really enjoyed our food. Our chicken pie with filo pastry was very tasty and in our opinion certainly didn't need 'more substantial pastry' as another review suggested. All main courses were good and the puddings scrumptious. The service was prompt and friendly. We will certainly be back.
