Great local beer, lovely pub food. Nice people. Epic views, low ceilings. I would strongly recomend anyone to go there if in the area.

On a cold damp November evening you will not find a better place to enjoy good food, ale and atmosphere than the 3 Horseshoes. I have been visiting this pub for years and it is as good today as it has always been. The beer - I had Youngs Best - comes from a barrel behind the bar and is... More

28th October turned out to be pretty much the last day of Summer. Scorching Indian Summer day (well it felt it when we walked uphill in the sun!) Country stroll with my better half. A pint and a ploughmans deserved. And this pub delivered well. Still can't believe the price one pays for a ploughmans these days, but the cheese... More

Have 'used' the Three Horseshoes off and on for donkeys years. Whatever reviewers say, please, please Sue, don't change the format. It's becoming more and more unique and an absolute must for any foreign visitor. It's not posh nosh, la-dee-dah, over-rated, expensive gastro pub, like so many others in the area - it's a proper pub, with reliably good food... More

An exceptional pub. Very cosy and welcoming atmosphere with a wide menu choice. Freshly prepared meals and tasty tasty tasty. Obviously a popular place with the locals and visitors made to feel welcome. Beautiful garden with spectacular views and pub/garden all very well managed by a dedicated landlady and her team. This pub is a must visit if you are... More

This is my local, and I love it. It is friendly welcoming, idiosyncratic and a great place to spend time. The food is good and warming, with generous portions, using lots of seasonal and local produce. Cask ales straight from the barrel, always something different to try. But probably best of all is the beautifully kept garden with amazing views... More

Went for lunch here with some friends on Sunday. The garden was beautiful with stunning views but everything else was quite frankly crap! From the 'service' from the bar and waitress staff who need to be taught how to smile & be polite to customers - to the over prices bland food and desserts took 45 minutes to arrive! Warning... This is a particularly fine pub. The views over the Downs from the garden are outstanding. The small bar is spit and sawdust style with plenty of dogs if you are lucky. There is a smarter restaurant area if you wish, one room with a lovely wood burner. Starters £6-10, cheapest main usually around £12. Delicious.

Just had a delicious meal at the Three Horsehoes. Scollops and Bacon. Roomy and welcoming, - great puddings too.

From the beautiful rose garden that greets you, to the beautiful views of the Harting Downs all around - this wonderful experience is then matched by the wonderful food (I had cottage pie with beautifully cooked veg), quick service, friendly atmosphere and ample size of the dog-friendly beer garden with those wonderful panoramic views to feast on while you eat....
