service was good

My husband hated his food, he thinks the prawns we're half frozen and mushy, the squid was rubbery and oily. My button mushroom fetachini was nice and fresh and cooked. I personally liked the place, my husband did not like it and is in no hurry to go again. I would like to go for the roast... read more

We enjoyed lunch here in October, so we tried dinner with friends last night. Dreadful experience for all four of us. My husband ordered the Friday special 'Seafood platter for two at half price'$42.50. Greasy chips, one scampi, five scallops, six prawns, spanish mackeral fish.Hardly forty two dollars worth, never $85.00! I had the pork ribs, fine, but again greasy... More

Took my elderly parents for lunch here yesterday. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. For $14.95 for lunch you don't expect much but you do expect it to be edible. Fish and chips were cold and the batter was greasy. The salad bar was tired and the dessert bar was tinned fruit, jelly and icecream. The... More

Yestebrday we ate a well known established pub, today a pub in a commercial area attached the wholesale fruit and vegetable markets of Perth. What a difference? Today we were offered the higher end of pub grub, no affectation, just honest food.He ordered a steak sandwich with fries, I had Asparagus risotto with grilled chicken. They were busy, but the... 5 stars is a lot to give to a local pub restaurant - we are not talking about fine dining here by any means! 5 stars is because this is our consistent favourite for great value pub food dining with lovely staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The $16.95 specials are amazing value. No scrimping on serving size because you are... More

If you fancy a top rate seafood experience, why not try Jack Caddy's Ale Bar and Bistro at the Market City Tavern in Bannister Road, Canning Vale, on a Friday. It's at the top end of the road, near South Street. Why Friday? Because they have their seafood platter for two at half price - $42.50. There's a salad bar... More

I went for the Sunday Lunch (buffet style) which is brilliant.. It includes salad bar and sweets. The food is excellent and very tasty especially the Yorkshire Puddings.Just like having a Roast at home without all the work. The staff are very caring and efficient and the Chef is a gem. I sometimes go on my own and still feel... More

Went for a birthday dinner and had a great feed. The place was very busy but still welcomed by a very friendly ( but ver busy) host. The steak was cooked just as I asked and the other meals were all very tasty. The kids loved their pizzas and the activity packs that came with their meals. All in all,... More
