Great atmosphere

I love this place. Located right in the centre of Potton, overlooking the quaint market square. This pub/hotel/restaurant has oodles of atmosphere, with lots of comfy seating, a real fire, good coffee and a great selection of real ales that change regularly. Dogs are welcome in the bar and my... read more

I regularly frequent the coach house. I wouldn't go anywhere else! It has good food, good drinks and a great atmosphere. The staff there as also very friendly and polite, Belle is always there to greet you with a smile as does bar tender Ashleah who is always bubbly and there with a warm welcome. I hold business meetings there... More

My partner and I have been here twice, once for mid-week dinner and the other Sunday lunch. Both times we were greeted with a warm welcome and friendly service. The staff are delightful and the beer, cider and wine is very tasteful! The food both times were very tasty and above average for your normal country dining experience. We will... More

I was a little apprehensive about having my birthday meal here as I'd been warned about the price and the portion sizes. However, I have to say that my partner and I were completely stuffed after our 3 courses...really we could have managed without the dessert but the menu seemed to contain all our favourites! It was pricey but nothing... More

Picked out this restaurant for New Years Eve as it is local, there was live music and had good reviews. However we all thought the meal was very overpriced and small portions. We had decided on staying there to celebrate the New Year but after we had had two courses, we asked if we could have a rest and were... More

We recently moved to Potton, and we have been checking out all the local places. The Coach house is walking distance. I went to lunch here with my husband and step-son just before Christmas. We were not dissapointed at all. The staff are all very sharp, and they are in good appearance and dress. This a very up to date... More

first impressions were good, nice bar and good service. Restaurant disappointing with no atmosphere, would have preferred to stay in bar. Resembled boarding school dining hall. Not cheap and food was bland. Wouldn't rush back for a meal. A pub trying to hard!

Great for morning coffee, but rather noisy sometimes with yummy mummies and their little ones. Evening meals good, but not the cheapest, but good selection of wines and menu choises.

We eat in places that are far too stiff and formal through to fun Turkish joints in Dalston. This great place sits right in the middle and is all the better for it. Friendly and unpretentious, a check who knows their stuff and is willing to try something different and a wine list that is well chosen. People here are... More

I have eaten here on a few occasions and again today. The food is always well presented and very tasty. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Surroundings are relaxing and comfortable. Today was a particularly nice day as I was lucky to sit near one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever seen. Keep it up coach house... More
