Great family restuarant

We were staying in a villa in Pescina just about 2 miles from the restaurant. It was recommended by the villa owner. we were NOT disappointed. The food and service was great. All reasonably priced. Family owned and operated.

On a recent trip to Tuscany, we were staying in villa approx 1km south of the village Lucolena. We were recommended Cas Del Popolo. We weren't disappointed. Home cooked pizza and calazone were up there with the best. A small family run restaurant with a warm friendly welcome. Prices were very reasonable - we were 45 euros for three 12"... More

We go to 'Casa del Popolo' pizzeria in Lucolena on regular basis. The food is consistently very good and very reasonably priced. Friendly and welcoming staff. Modest and no frills place, yet authentic with fab spirit of local etruscan community. Favourite desert of all times - 'Mille Foglie' Highly recommended.
