If you're heading to Waiheke for the wine...you have to visit Peacock Sky

It's not as well know as some of the other wineries on the island but the food is great and so is the wine. Highly recommend the degustation wine tasting! I think the wine tasting here is the best on the island from what I've tried. You'll also learn a lot about wine matching. I went here with... read more

We stopped in to this little gem and we had a treat. The wines were all carefully matched with morsels of tempting food created daily by the vineyard owners. It was something different that we had not done before. nice to be shown how wines can mix with different foods and enrich and highlight them. thank you for the experience.

We got married at Peacock Sky on the 21st of February. We can not rate this venue highly enough for a wedding. The location is beautiful, Connie and Rob are delightful and absolute perfectionists in their work. We fell in love with the venue at first sight. It has quite a rustic look and the outdoor seating area was perfect... More

We visited Peacock Sky for the first time last year. We have visited several times since, as it is one of our favorite places to visit on Waiheke Island. The paired food / wine tastings are a must. However, the friendly managers and lovely staff are what makes us keep coming back. They have made us feel special and appreciated... More

We had a group of 10 of us for lunch before we did the Ecozip and it was fantastic. there was a huge assortment of platter food mixed with some lovely wine. The dog (sorry, I can't remember his name, I think it was Sky) was very affectionate and friendly. He isn't a grovel for food dog, just friendly. Great... More

We enjoyed an delightful lunch at Peacock Sky. Service was excellent and we felt like we were eating in somebody's home. Having Sky's (the sheepdog) company was an added bonus. Thoroughly recommended.

One of the best on the island. The tasting they do with food pairings is such a good touch. We had a table of 9 and everyone is planning a visit back in the near future. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic wine and I can't rave enough about the food. If you haven't been there book it in on... More

Stumbled (quite literally from Batch wines) to Peacock Sky and were immediately welcomed by owner/hostess/chef Connie who took us through to a private wine tasting with matching degustation bite size foods. From the moment the first tasting of wine combined with the first course in our mouths we knew we were in for a real treat. Connie engaged us with... More

I have never had food pairing with wine before. It was great and it did make a difference to the wine.

What a surprise…we absolutely fell in love with Peacock Sky and Connie!!! It was my daughter's first wine tasting ever and let's just say she got spoiled. Connie was the most amazing teacher and helped my daughter to learn about the wines and pairings. My husband and I have been to so many wineries, some with pairings and some without.... More
