Food was amazing and just what we needed during a day of wine tasting. Wine list very good and extensive. Was noisy on a Saturday afternoon. Service was great and no problem when we were late.

Hadn't planned to visit this winery but the idea of tapas appealed so we could have a light lunch. Very glad we did. The staff were very attentive despite being busy and explained all the food and wine on offer. The tapas was simple but varied. We had the paella, meatballs, jambon and bread with dips. Wine is offered by... More

I conspired with friends who were long-time Waiheke homeowners to surprise a friend I was traveling with on his birthday. They did not hesitate to suggest Casita Miro as the best place to enjoy a lovely lunch at hilltop restaurant with lovely gardens and pleasant vistas at every turn. The lovely lady who owns the restaurant along with her doctor... More

Last visited during RWC 2011 when we held " the longest lunch" here. That from what I could remember was a great occasion with lots of fun , but importantly food was excellent , considering the number of people catered for! This time , bought my wife and very good friends here prior to Spandau Ballet concert later that night.... More

We lunched here with friends and were, as usual, delighted with our experience. The food, service, and setting were all superb. We look forward to returning.

Absolutely adored the food we shared here with a group recently. The tapas are to die for! Melt in your mouth braised beef, delicious patatas bravas and the you have to order the pork belly... and the lamb and fig tagine, and the prawn dish. Pretty much order one of everything and enjoy with a nice red wine. Such a... More

Cat (the owner) has to be absolutely the best ever restaurant host, anticipating requirements in advance, in the friendliest way. Her staff are fabulous, a result of their passion for where they work and who they work for….. plus the views are simply stunning!! We will be back ;-(}

We have been before and loved it so bought some friends from the UK for lunch. We filled up our table with so much food and would have been happy with just the warm bread and dips for the starter but followed this with paella and lots more to share. The red sangria was particularly good and really reminded me... More

Stunning location, views and atmosphere, beautiful food and awesome hospitality - you just have to go there and experience all this! Added to this is the wonderful and very moving generosity of the owners and staff who gave so generously to Christchurch from a special function the night after the devastating earthquake in February 2011. We will always remember this... More
