It's been a while since we've visited the Moddy Cow. We certainly won't leave it so long next time. My fillet steak was fantastic with wonderful flavours accompanying it - a truly delicious meal. My wife's chicken was equally flavourful. Top,top quality at the price you'd expect to pay. The management and staff are really friendly and passionate about their... More

A very nice country pub. Excellent choice of food with very friendly service. The quality of food is to a high standard and the pub also serves organic wine if that sort of thing interests anyone.

Popped in after seeing the sign on the M50 roundabout. I had such delight to see such a brilliant menu with clear allergen labels. I had the beef and oxtail burger with home made chips and outstanding aioli with the others in my party having the ribs in a delicious home made sauce. The team there were excellent and very... This pub is wonderful, the food was beautiful and the staff so friendly. Sat outside with family and my dog, the landlord came out and said "it might rain so we have reserved the last table for you indoors. Also my stepfather doesn't like mushy peas and it was no bother to swap this for mushrooms. The waitress was very... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your birthday lunch with us at the Moody Cow ( even if you kept it a secret!) and we were happy to saute off some mushrooms for your step father. It is really nice that you mention the service you received, all... More

We had seen the sign on the M50 roundabout for this establishment a few times when passing and decided to give it a try with an early evening Saturday visit in July.. They were very accommodating and considering we had not booked a table, went out of their way to fit us, (my Wife, six year old Son and Myself)... More

This is a quaint pub located near Ross on Wye. The restaurant is poorly lit: it is on the murky side of romantic Mine host is friendly and welcoming, but the food is nothing special. I was surprised at the 'Home Counties' price of the food which for my companion and I was Ok but nothing special.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I also appreciate you responding to my off line request for a little additional information so that I could look into the detail. I am very sorry that you thought our pan fried sea bass fillets served on a bed of crushed new potatoes with a wilted spinach saffron and... More

Visited with some friends who live locally and have been praising the MC for a while now. They have good reason to. The welcome was sincere and the service excellent. All of our menu selections were really very good; just a shame we had no room for desert because they looked good on the menu. Need to arrange a return... More
