Delicious food and friendly staff.

Sunday lunch was really delicious. Super choices. Staff very friendly and attentive. No rush as we dawdled over coffee. Hope to return soon. Thanks to all.

Had lunch here on our way to a week's holiday in the Brecon Beacons. The food was very nice, if a little pricey. The atmosphere was great and the landlord very friendly.

I have recently visited with my extended family (around 15 in total) and had an excellent Sunday lunch. The service was fantastic. The food was brilliant and clearly homemade. We were made to feel at home and very welcome, and it was nice not to be rushed so they could get another sitting in after us. We will definitely go... More

I visit the Moody Cow about once a week or so. It is my favourite restaurant with great atmosphere, very friendly staff and fantastic food so you can see why we keep on going back. Not the cheapest place but if you like good food well cooked and presented then this is the place for you. Having recently used Trip... More

Thanks for a fantastic dinner on the 28th. The food (fresh bread and olives, Pork Belly, Burger and Venison, with Cheese to follow) was amazing along with the service and wine.

This was our second visit here for lunch in the last six months or so....we usually frequent another local pub/restaurant in the area for our regular lunch 'treats', but we have been sorely disappointed with it lately, so decided to visit the Moody Cow once more. We were warmly welcomed and our order was taken efficiently. The choice of food... More

Firstly, the manager tried to resolve my issue and you have to give credit where due. This was a birthday Sunday lunch for which we made a 45 mile journey. The reviews were excellent hence the effort made. In short the serving of one main fish dish was very meagre and was apparently the last portion available. You'd be forgiven... More

Thank you for your review. I am really very sorry that you were disappointed with your experience, we did make a mistake with the discription on the menu that we printed on Sunday the 26th of April and I should have spotted it before we commenced service. Thank you for sharing a valuable lesson which will enable us to improve.... More
