The food and service were excellent. My husband had the slow roast pork belly and I had the lamb - both were superb, really beautifully cooked and so tasty. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Ate here today-sat outside sheltered from sun under parasol; we had sea bass and homemade burger; both beautifully presented, staff delightful, service excellent-unassuming and 'on-the-ball'. Thank you for a very pleasant friendly experience. S and N Cheltenham

A visit when visiting relatives was our first but hopefully we will be here again. A good choice of food and all dishes were really tasty, wine list reasonable and others told me there was a good choice of beer. I understand its a good idea to book.

Number 1 - book!! This place is popular - rightly so too. The food is excellent. Menu choice is great. Locally sourced meat was cooked to perfection. Cheese tart was yummy! Very accommodating staff, polite and engaging. Parking is great, location is great too. Thanks for making an ideal spot for meeting friends and family. We will return!!

We found this place by chance, having wandered slightly off course but were pleasantly surprised at the care that has obviously been taken by the owners in setting the place up. Plenty of outdoor seating and the menu had several delectable sounding choices. However, as we were not in need of a full meal we chose to share a ploughmans... More

Cannot fault the meal ! Generous to say the least. The sea bass perfect and the ribs with their special sauce a treat. Very welcoming and will definitely return.
