Light brunch hit the spot

Homemade granola, yogurt and fruit for me and homemade English muffin with egg and Italian sausage hit the spot. Good service - nice stop in Big Sur.

We were treated to a warm reception, and a quick discussion of the menu, some drinks and then a fabulous meal. Steak and stuffed chicken and maybe a small vegi plate. Desserts consisted of homemade ice cream. Wine was really big and rich....Great Stop!

Had a delicious dinner here during our one night stay @ Glen Oaks. We had a table out in the patio near the fire pit and enjoyed a bottle of wine and dinner. We had the steak and the pork tenderloin and both were prepared to our liking and was more than enough to keep us from finding a midnight... More

a very nice, casual atmosphere in big sur, which still has a nice upscale feel to it. Service was excellent, extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wine and beer lists are great. a decent amounts of options on the menu, not overwhelming but just enough to have some good options. a great spot that will not disappoint.

Great brunch made with of local and organic food prepared perfectly! We ordered a lot of food and ate it all. It was top notch. Service was great and the waitress even told us about a beach that didn't have any signage and was use mostly by locals. Great tip it was. This restaurant is at good as it get.... More

The menu recently changed and looks like a promising farm to table restaurant conveniently located near Ripplewood, Fernwood, and Glen Oaks. We arrived for breakfast and they were out of coffee. There were no coffee options at all, which was extremely disappointing. This is something to expect in Big Sur, however, as the businesses are remote and probably do not... More

This restaurant is totally baby unfriendly. I patronize this restaurant today with my family, including a pair of 6 month old twin babies. The bathrooms have no diaper changing station, so I asked the waitress where I can change my babies' diapers. She was unsure but did not object when I used the restaurant's couch to change the diapers. Just... More

We had a late breakfast at the Roadhouse. On the menu it was described as " made in house English muffins, fried egg and sausage" Avcado was an extra $2.50 .What came to our table was soggy flat English muffins, an over cooked egg, and a disk of sausage with gristle ", then the avocado was forgotten, so later it was... Roadhouse has a sober decoration, with an open fire and strong wooden tables, which are spaced out gently so you have some privacy to talk. Classical food, but very well prepared, and a nice sense of service. We had 3 dinners there during our stay, and we enjoyed all 3.

Service, ambience: - This place is more like arts gallary and decor is really "cool." Wait staff is also attentive and brought water glasses before we need to confront. I'm really pissed with some Frenetic CA restaurants while they mentioned drinking water is optional, bread is optional. Yes, I DO want to drink water after a long road trip and... More
