This was my second stop this cafe and I am trying to put some constructive criticism with a hope for an improvement in management and service. When I came here the first time (December 2012) the service was good and food portion is normal although a bit pricey which we understand given the location that provided a beautiful view of... More

Stopped for a lunch break on our way from Monterrey to Santa Barbara. The view is great, but there is enough other vista points to choose. The food ain't worth the stop and even the sandwiches in the shop next door are rather pricy! So plan ahead and make a different choice.

You really could not make this up. Wanting a drink with the family we had the misfortune to stop at this venue. This must be the first time I have ever been to a café where, upon you placing your order, the waitress actually asks you to leave the establishment before you have even sat down suggesting that instead you... Awful service, awful food, what a rip off, they add the service charge to the bill probably because you would never leave a tip. Plenty of places a few miles on.

This place is a no stars kind of place. Yeah, the view is spectacular, and that is where the "good" in the experience ends. No phone service. No way to check reviews which has to be the only reason this place is in business. We were camping on the last day of our 2 week vacation and went to Gourda... More

Food ok but to expensive. The place was dirty. The waitress was not friendly at all. She ruined the whole meal with her behavior and ended up adding tips to the cheque without asking first.

Without a doubt worst food ever after traveling for nearly 40 years and around the world! Food was dry and very much over cooked. 2 adults and 2 kids and no adult beverages over 96.45 for nasty food hateful waitress and owners were rude and arrogant because they are the only dump to eat at within 40miles either direction and... My husband and I stopped here out of convenience on our way driving up Highway 1 to Monterey. Out of our entire 2 week vacation, this was the worst place we ate at (including park food at Disneyland). You could tell that service was a low priority since they knew people will keep stopping here due to their location. Our... More

This is a very picturesque restaurant. From here there are fabulous views out over the Pacific Ocean. The food is just ok. It's edible but nothing to write home about. This place is perfect for a quick stopover while driving Highway 1, not much else.

Great stop on the Big Sur...good service, good food and great views! Saw some whales too! Next to a gas station and a general store.
