Went here for dinner. This restaurant doesn’t have a lot of competition but that doesn’t mean they take the easy way out, the food was delicious. They give you some bread when you get there, which was good. I had the sockeye salmon salad which was very good. And the view is amazing. There was only one other customer in... More

Quick! What do you think of when you hear 'California lifestyle'? For me, it is laid back and easy with an ocean view. And that's what we got at Lucia Lodge Restaurant. Sure, the staff is a little more relaxed than your regular chain eatery, but our waitress was attentive and sunny in disposition. The menu was a little pricey... More

Fortunately, the scenery was beautiful and the whales were breaching otherwise we would have left long before our meals arrived. This was honestly the worst service we have ever experienced at a restaurant. Where do I begin? As soon as we sat ourselves at the rail the couple to the right of us warned us that we should expect to... More

We stopped here on our way down the coast from San Francisco. Service was excellent. Our food was delicious, a bit pricey but the food & view were well worth it!

We sat outside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the whales were out this day. The food was excellent. We had fish and chips, and different sandwiches. All was very good, and the prices weren't terribly considering the location!

There is nowhere else to eat, so its a captive audience. The food was actually really good, just pricey, & I was annoyed with the tip automatically added, which I didn't realise til after I'd signed the check. I wouldn't have tipped quite so well, as the service wasn't that good. Breakfast was just a little disorganised at the start,... More

Food was ok, not enough local fish Price was outrageous, but we had a window seat for the sunset. Staff was friendly but not enough to deal with the whole room of people

We drove north up the coast and stopped here. We were looking for a place that had a great view and we found it here. We shared the Reuben sandwich and thought it was delicious-but pricey. 73 degree weather, cold local beer-Firestone DPA, and a view of whales of the coast. It was a nice stop. Next time we'll pack... Pack a lunch when traveling thru Big Sur. The fish and chips were greasy and overcooked. Greatly overpriced. Nice view, but not worth the price of this lunch.

Lucia is a spot that your first thought is to just keep going as the best part of this restaurant is hidden from view when your on the highway. On a clear day it is a great spot to have lunch on the outdoor patio as the view is fantastic. The portion sizes a large enough to split, the fish... More
