Great food and ambiance. Eat outdoors and if the fog isn't rolling in, get a view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

We were driving from San Luis Obispo up to San Jose and doing some hiking along the way. By the time we got here we were STARVING and not about to wait for a table at Nepenthe, so we ate downstairs at Cafe Kevah...which was perfect for what we wanted! This is brunch style food, but very delicious. My husband... More

The site is still beautiful. We stopped and had a glass of wine, waiting patiently for the fog to disappear. It never did. That's June in Big Sur.

So breathtaking over at Kevah. We stopped there for a quick bite and to take some pictures and this place did not disappoint. The staff is really nice and drinks are really tasty. A little pricey for the food, but I guess you're paying for the view also. :) You have to wait around a little bit if you want... More

Pretty place but there was lots of fog so we couldn't see the view. We were here around 11:30 am. Maybe the fog clears later? I had the French toast which was great. Husband had the eggs and bacon and son had the eggs Benedict. Both were ok but not great. Drinks and food could have been warmer.

I was lucky enough to have breakfast here on my way out of Big Sur and I LOOOOOVED IT! Not only was the view phenomenal but the breakfast was equally fantastic. I had the eggs Benedict with crab. AMAZING! I was a big fan of it's neighboring restaurant Nepenthe but this one was even better! I didn't deal with a... More

Terrific place to stop on your Highway 1 trip. The food was great, serving sizes were generous enough to share, service was quick (no waiting for tables), and, of course, the views are magnificent. Don't miss the Phoenix gift shop next level down, and take time to look at the patio of Nepenthe upstairs. Also enjoy the walks, plants and... More

The view from Cafe Kevah is amazing. Get there before the 1 pm rush. We ordered a roast beef sandwich (very big) and one of the best cheese platters that I have eaten. Simply delicious. Took some pictures of the view then went to Pfeiffer Big Sur park. The only knock was the cashier was a young man who wasn't... More

We stopped here on a whim. Beautiful setting. Very busy. Was a bit unsure of the limited menu. If your really hungry go to the larger restaurant upstairs.
