This little restaurant serves delicious breakfast and lunch food. (They close at 2:00PM) The restaurant is rustic, and in the spring and summer there is a beautiful little courtyard with tables for meal service. The menu has a variety of selections including lovely looking pancakes, french toast, omelets, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, etc. (There are lunch selections as well.) I... More

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Morro Bay. We were just in time as they close at 2 PM. We ordered some enchilladas, potato soup and some other food. They were just superb, especially the soup. The service was quick and efficient. A great stop on a wonderful drive.

I liked the menu, the food was excellent and the service was terrific. It is across Hwy.1 from the cabins. Very convenient.

Great food and service. Came on Christmas morning and was happily surprised with the great food and service. They put a spin on my eggs Benedict that was wonderful. Would highly recommend it

This homey cafe quickly became our favourite place to eat. The staff are wonderfully helpful and warm. The food was incredibly delicious. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the prices were great! Imagine!! Tasty, friendly, spotless and didn't blow the budget. We love the Ripplewood Cafe!!

I would have booked elsewhere if I had known there was construction work right on the other side of our cabin across the river. I would not recommend until construction is done!

My wife and I were staying in a cabin nearby and decided to try this multi-use kind of place that also had cabins, gas station, small grocery, and this great restaurant. She had a burrito and I had two enchiladas. They were all very tasty. We took a turkey on rye sandwich with salad back to our cabin for a... More

We stopped here for lunch on our trip down Highway 1. The staff was superb, as was the food they prepared. We had better service and food than at a "big name" restaurant in Monterey the night before! The facility was clean and deserving of the highest rating, except for the bathroom door being locked the whole time we were... More

We stopped here on a whim while heading down to Big Sur. I wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I had the little Sur omelet and my husband had the half-stack of blueberry pancakes. The pancakes are huge and my husband raved about them. The hashbrowns were also outstanding. Decor-wise, it's got... More

If you're traveling the Pacific Coast Highway, this is a nice stop for a good breakfast and a break from enjoying the views! We sat outside to enjoy the treed in patio, but inside looked nice also. It sure beats the pricey spots in the area. They are known for the au gratin potatoes & they were quite good!
