Nice place to get away too when its cold in Monterey! We usually eat on the deck and listen to the band or get the BBQ hamburgers and go sit on the lawn or in one of the chairs that sits in the water! Lots of fun and a great way to spend the afternoon!

Stopped by for lunch after a morning hike. Seated promptly on the patio which continued to fill up. Loved the setting near the woods and river. Orders were taken and food delivered in good time. Enjoyed a delicious salad. Good place to stop if you are nearby as eating options are limited.

We visited here in the off season mid march 2013. The restaurant is rustic and was not at all busy when we were there. I had the brisket beef which was tasty but not outstanding The staff was friendly and efficient. Overall worth a visit. There is an associated hotel on the property
