The best I have ever had, so perfectly cooked and my friend and I split the plate giving us both adequate portions. Sat on mashed potatoes with asparagus spears on top of the lobster. Cora, the owner/hostess greets everyone personally and sits at the table with you conversing with everyone. It was pretty amazing to watch and be a part... More

Food was great. Place is lovely. Not Mexican nor was the decor. You feel like you're somewhere else. A change if you spend a long time in PM. A couple of suggestions: *It's time to have new coasters made. I don't expect to have dampened, warped, cardboard coasters recycled several times put on my table in an otherwise quite good... More

Dora has to be one of the most gracious owner I know. She Rocks the house and I can tell you there staff is very loyal and can cook a great meal. Music, drinks and food all make a great evening for all.

We were told this was the best restaurant in town so we were excited to try it. Perhaps it was just an off night for the cook but both our duck and our pork loin were over cooked making the pork especially a bit tough. The mojitos were excellent and the service great though!

Only place in Mexico that cooked a beautiful thick steak exactly the way I wanted it! Food was great, wine was great, and ambiance was great too. Pro tip: call ahead for reservations or be prepared to tip the greeter for a seat.

We had a wonderful time walking around and shopping in Puerto Morelos. We ventured inside at first, but there was a large, noisy group of drinkers at the bar. So we were very happy to seat ourselves in the picturesque front courtyard. The large portions of great food went really well with cold refreshing drinks. We were pleased with the... More

Last week we visited John Gray's Kitchen for dinner. We had been there the previous year and had such a great experience we had to go back. Our return visit definitely did not disappoint! We had a party of 17 and Dora did an amazing job accomodating us. She was so welcoming and it was great to see a lot... More

We were there for a yoga retreat in January. John Gray's was by far the best food we had!! Very yummy, clean, and friendly staff. Better than most food I get a home in the US.....Worth the price.
