Description: el Nicho is a beautiful place to spend a leasurely brunch. It is across from the park and has a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. The room is full of lovely sites and sounds from beautifully presented food, to great music. The walls feature artwork from local artists and the service is top notch.

4 of us ate breakfast here, 4 coffees all just warm, one nice fruit plate, hrd to mess that up. 3 overcooked and barely warm eggs Benedict. Eggs actually solid. Not sure why this restaurant is so highly rated.

We ate both a breakfast and a lunch over two days. Just great food. Some of the best chilaquiles we've ever had. I had an excellent veggie sandwich with a delicious slaw salad. My girls ate up the eggs and molletes. Unassumingly excellent

My wife and I had two different versions of eggs benedict. Both were really good. Her version was the "Palta" and mine was with mushrooms and a local spinach-like green. I can't remember the name. But the hollandaise was homemade and excellent, as was everything. You can't go wrong. All for under 290 pesos ($23).

It has nice organic menu although pretty limited. Good fresh juices but no coffee or pastries (go next door for that).

Stopped in twice during recent visits to PM, after reading reviews here on Trip Advisor. Charming cafe, with delicious fresh lemonade and lattes. Really enjoyed the yogurt with homemade granola. Would highly recommend you give it a try.

We escaped the expensive, tourist vibe of our Cancun hotel to explore Puerto Morelos. Located on the adorable town plaza, is El Nicho. Packed to the gills, we found a table for two and began to enjoy the ambiance full of original artwork, warm breezes, and friendly bilingual waitstaff. The menu is chock full of healthy and delicious options. My... More

This is a must visit. Having both great friendly service and excellent, quality food adds up to an excellent experience. El Nicho is right next to the town square. A cozy place with an open air feeling as it opens right up to the square. We tried many different plates and all were excellent. Muchas gracias mis amigos. Espero regresar... More
