Found this little corner cafe after stopping by the fruit market. Wanted something authentic, fast and good price and this place met all the factors. It was fun watching the cook make her own tortillas fresh then cooking the quesadillas on two big gas stoves. The options were unique and the food was delicious. I'm so glad we stopped by!

This was the second quesadilla spot that we tried in la colonia. Very good and we appreciated la cocinera's patience. Three kinds of salsa were offered with the quesadillas. We first had stopped at the quesadilla stand up by the rotary and Pemex. It was also good, but this had more atmosphere.

It's a good sign when you are at a mexican food place and the only chatter you hear around you is in Spanish. That was my experience when I decided to try out this unsuspecting Mexican corner place, I ordered 1 cochinita, 1 chicharron both for $2.50. Both were perfectly flavored and cooked, topped with cream and lettuce for $1... More

These ladies are the best! Delicious varieties of quesadillas ready in no time and for cheap. This place is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. Time and again we found that if you want to eat the best food and eat like the locals, go into the Colonia from PM and just try anything. We each ordered... More

Stopped by for a quick lunch, had a bunch of delicious quesadillas that were hot and ready in a few minutes. The woman working was very friendly. Definitely try this! Delicious.

Hi Maurice! we appreciate your nice review, but we think maybe there is a confusion as we don't offer wine list just regular water and sodas. Best regards! :) More

Food and service were great when the owner was there. Go early. First time we went was around 4 pm. Excellent. Next couple of times were later and they were out of everything but cheese (owner not there). The food is delicious, but get there early before they run out of meat. Excellent value!

We stopped here after a few hours walking around the Colonia. The chef was friendly and efficient and took the time to explain things to us in our s l o w Spanish. We really enjoyed it. Our first exposure to the restaurant was when we first arrived in Puerto Morelos and were standing across the street clearly disoriented (ok-lost) The girl from the restaurant came over to help us. From then on we knew where to go for a happy face and pleasant conversation. AND the food was great--filling and cheap--my kind... More
