Though not in the beach town of Puerto Morelos, this place is not to be missed. Take the collective from town to the highway for cheap to enjoy the best quesadillas you'll ever have. Don't let missing out on these be why you're life is so empty!

We stop at this quesadillas restaurant always on our way into the Puerto Morelos area. The food is delicious! The ladies make the food in front of you. We have never had a bad experience. You sit on bar stools at the counter or at one of the tables. The food is delicious. You will not be disappointed!

I've been meaning to try this place for a while now. We decided to stop on the way to the airport at the end of the trip. It's right around the corner from the Pemex and 7-11 convenience store. It was pretty early yet - maybe 9:30 AM - but the grill was fired up and ready to go. All... More

This place is in the locals area of la colonia, just up the road from Puerto Morelos, but is worth the trip. It's pretty basic, but the food is freshly prepared and cooked in front of you. We went there twice and enjoyed the quesadillas we had both times. They were very tasty. One even had cactus in it which... More

This place is a furnace, but the quesadillas are really good. We went there twice and bought some quesadillas to go. We had a car so was not a problem for us to stop on our way home to Puerto Morelos. Really cheap and food cooked on order. All tortillas made by hand. Really good standard of hygiene, the cook... Had a mix from here of everything that they had. It was awesome. The sopas were also great. Price was right. 5 qdillas and 1 sopa was 90 pesos. There are other places that sell qdillas around town slightly cheaper but most of them skimp on the meat. Would eat here again for sure. Not a great place to eat... More

Found this little corner cafe after stopping by the fruit market. Wanted something authentic, fast and good price and this place met all the factors. It was fun watching the cook make her own tortillas fresh then cooking the quesadillas on two big gas stoves. The options were unique and the food was delicious. I'm so glad we stopped by!

This was the second quesadilla spot that we tried in la colonia. Very good and we appreciated la cocinera's patience. Three kinds of salsa were offered with the quesadillas. We first had stopped at the quesadilla stand up by the rotary and Pemex. It was also good, but this had more atmosphere.

It's a good sign when you are at a mexican food place and the only chatter you hear around you is in Spanish. That was my experience when I decided to try out this unsuspecting Mexican corner place, I ordered 1 cochinita, 1 chicharron both for $2.50. Both were perfectly flavored and cooked, topped with cream and lettuce for $1... More

These ladies are the best! Delicious varieties of quesadillas ready in no time and for cheap. This place is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. Time and again we found that if you want to eat the best food and eat like the locals, go into the Colonia from PM and just try anything. We each ordered... More
