We randomly came across this quaint restaurant last year and could not wait to go back!!! Do not walk past this place and miss out!! Seriously, I have been thinking about their food for a year! Very quaint, and homey feeling. Sand floor and plastic patio chairs :) We had the garlic conch and the whole fried fish ( who... More

We loved this place. It was by accident that we came across it while strolling around the back streets and byways. It was so friendly and relaxing. The food was excellent and very fresh and new. Appetizers were presented with our surprise. The service was the best, and we never had to ask for anything. Everyone was very attentive and... More

This is a very authentic restaurant. Please note, there is no air conditioning, it is mostly outdoors and has a dirt floor. We loved the food here. The service was also very good! However, we stayed in an all-inclusive Americanized resort and so perhaps our stomachs were not prepared to eat at such an authentic venue. I became very ill... More

We went there for lunch and were given several condiments, pico, pumpkin seed sauce, picante, some cucumbers with a delightful touch of lime and pepper, cacama?, and chips. The food was excellent as well. It was so good we went back a couple days later in the evening for dinner, however they were out of the condiments. The food was... More

While strolling toward another restaurant for lunch, we were greeted at the street entrance to El Pesquero by two gentlemen with smiling faces - it helped that they were standing directly below a sign that said 'Mojitos', so we decided to stop there, instead. Great guacamole, kick-butt habañero sauce (they showed us where they grow the peppers), and a fantastic... More

We loved this place! It was the best food we had all week. The staff was friendly and attentive. The shrimp quesadillas were wonderful. They had burgers and french fries too. The salsa and guacamole was fabulous. Can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant.

We read the TA reviews and they were spot on. We ate here twice. We had fish and prawns both times. The food is amazingly fresh and the service is excellent. Felipe looked after us and his recommendations were perfect. We were the only tourists there, the other diners were locals- always a good sign. Would definitely recommend. Loved it.
