Great fun

We landed at Cantina Habanero our first night in PM and it became one of our regular stopping spots for a drink as Lupita the bartender became our favorite. It really is a spot where you run into regulars and get to know people. And you can do some dancing between 7 - 9 pm (like that it is... read more

Best margaritas anywhere near Puerto Morelos. We walk here from NOW Sapphire. Nice 45 minute walk down the beach. Hour and 15 minute walk back.

Cantina Habanero quickly became our favourite place during our recent visit to PM. The food is very good, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The live music is great! The band Vertigo let me sing Mustang Sally with their awesome singer, Janet! Great fun :-) We had many meals there and enjoyed every one of them, Great breakfast too. Love... More

Do NOT order the fish here. Worst meal I've ever had in Mexico. The other food was OK but pretty plain. Service on Friday night was very slow. They seemed to have one guy running the whole floor. On top of that, someone puked on the table behind us

We had dinner out by the street, the drinks were terrible and I ended up with a beer as it was safe. The food was OK but there was not enough staff and the service took forever.

This is a hopping place every evening, a great spot for socializing with other Canadians and Americans and great margaritas 2 x 1. The hamburgers are the best we've had anywhere, not made from frozen patties. The fish and chips were also excellent with a nice light batter. If you are looking for a break from the delicious Mexican fare... More

LOVE this place!. Over twelve days, we must have showed up here at least six times, probably more. The Cantina is casual and open air and seems to be the place where the same people come to hang out every day, eagerly welcoming the new arrivals. The staff is super friendly, and Robert tops the list. We visited for breakfast,... More

My first trip to this restaurant in Puerto Morelos. Had a fantastic time with friends. A little slow on food coming out, but we kind of over whelmed them with 19 people at once. Food was delish . I had the Fish & Chips and my wife had the shrimp tacos . Will return for sure. Great prices and none... More

Great margaritas 2x1 until 6pm, Food just ok and very noisy for dinner. You can get the drinks to go and sit on the beach and enjoy a quiet sunset ( even though you are looking East) and go eat later at El Bistro, just down the street.

The food has improved somewhat over the last year, but do miss all the staff that has left. Wine prices have skyrocketed. it is cheaper to have a glass of wine in Canada. Still love Nattie and the kids as well as Roberto.
