Pelicano's is situated at the Southeast corner of the city square of Puerto Morelos, directly on the beach. Most of the seating is outdoors, and the views are splendid. Our food and service were quite good. We were a party of 6 and ordered fried and grilled fish, beef fajitas and the Cuban sandwich. Everyone was very happy with their... More

The restaurant is in a perfect location, right on the beach with a large patio and next to the town square. The patio was packed when we were there during dinner hours. We had a cerviche and 2 plates of fish fillet with a local sauce (forgot the name). The cerviche was too limy. The fish plate was huge, but... More

Right off of the zocalo, right on the beach. We did not eat, but the whole fried fish the table over consumed looked great and their comments were all positive. The beer was cold and their prices were reasonable for food dishes. Next time we'll make time to eat.

Nice sea side casual restaurant. Beautiful view from the porch, lots of local flavor. I had the octopus and loved it. Don't drink anything made with water (I.e. tea or lemonade)

Although we didn't have many places to choose from upon our late arrival to PM we were pleasantly surprised just how good our meal was. We ordered the whole fried fish and a mixed ceviche . The staff was friendly, and the service excellent. We were determined to try as many restaurants in town as we could during our week... More

Overall, the place is a bit of tourist trap. Great location near the plaza overlooking the water, but food was completely average and somewhat over priced. Staff was really pleasant and helpful, but I probably would't go again. Maybe worth a visit if you're in Puerto Morelos for the day and want a drink with a view.

Enjoyed the dining but nothing exceptional. Food was good and service very nice. Not our best meal out. Just so so.

You can not beat the view from the outdoor patio. Food was great to. My husband loves hot and spicy things and they had some f the hottest salsa he's ever tried. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Puerto Morelos!

Was here in May '14 on a short excursion from our nearby hotel. Someone at the hotel had recommended Pelicano's so we stopped in for a quick lunch. We sat outdoors so we could view the ocean - those incredible shades of aqua and turquoise - and had a couple of shrimp cocktails, some guacamole, chips & salsa and cold... More

Great location - right in the little shop area and on the beach - good food - cold beer. Service was outstanding - staff spoke a little English but did it with a smile - cared about the experience and were very willing to modify the menu to meet your needs/wants. Brought whole family there and had a wonderful experience.
