In a very good location, right on the shore, yet the food was not what we used to have in U.S. Mexican restaurants. My meat came rare insread of well done and the service was not good.

The food was just so-so and the service was poor. The margaritas were on the small side and somewhat weak. Although the beer was cold, there was a limited selection. Prices were average for the area. On the plus side, it is on the beach with nice views.

Located right on the beach in the center of town. A nice place for snakes and to stop in for a cold drink or two. Servers were friendly and service was good. Lots of authentic Mexician dishes to pick from. I'd go again.

We always come here for the breakfast and the view. They have added a nice new parking area beach side of the restaurant, which was much needed. We ordered the 110 peso breakfast, which includes fresh squeezed oj, coffee, toast and a nice fruit plate with your entree. I had the motelenos and my hubbie had the shrimp omelet. Both... More

Every time we go to Puerto Morelos we walk from our hotel to Pelicano's. It is a nice atmosphere and right on the beach. The food is good, the service is ok. Just a nice place to sit back with a nice drink and relax. No one will rush you. Not that crazy about the guy walking from table to... More

The boys went Deep sea Fishing, when we met up with them at the pier they had three good sized fish one was a 25lb Red snapper. The crew cleaned the fish right at the pier and brought it to the restaurant. It was cooked in a few different ways, in butter and garlic, deep fried and right off the... More

Ocean front location, plenty of parking space and a good variety of sea food. We had the shrimp soup, shrimp cocktail and a lion fish a la plancha. Fresh and simply delicious!! Moderately priced we paid like 15 dollars per person in a party of 8 inlcuding drinks and ice cream deserts. The waiters are attentive and friendly and though... More

Pelicanos deserves credit for their clean, tourist-friendly appeal. It's well-decorated, fairly modern, and right on the town square while backing up to the beach. As a result, prices aren't the cheapest you'll find, but our waiter was very friendly and helpful (helping me a little with my lousy Spanish). Across the street from flea markets, I think a lot of... Ok... That was by American service standards. The location is very very nice... Get a table outside and RELAX and don't plan on a fast lunch. Portions were generous and very tasteful. However at the end I was ready to go and I had to ask for the bill twice... Then chased down the waiter to get the final printout... More
