Great meal for our last evening in Puerto Morelos

We went there on our last night in town, we wanted a ''real'' meal in a ''real'' restaurant as we usually eat in taco spots and eating at a table with a squirmy 18 month old is easier said than done. My husband had the burger which we liked very much and I had the lobster fettucine which was... read more

My husband and I were looking to have breakfast/lunch while walking around PoMo and decided to try El Pirata. It was a great choice! We had our 2 smaller dogs along with us and they didn't mind at all. We did choose to sit at a table outside the restaurant. I had the cold cream of avocado soup with shrimp... More

A large group of us went for dinner and all had the grouper with several different toppings. Everyone loved their choice. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

They have a good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their chef at the grill does excellent steaks. My only complaint is that they make their guacamole with milk.

Hello !! Thank you for you´re comment I really apreciate it. Our guacamole has not milk at all, there´s no way or option to cook the guacamole with milk, Im sure there is a mistake. I hope next time we can talk to find out why do you think that. Thank you again ! More

Easy to understand menu. Great service. Great Food. Economical. Manager was always on hand following up on the service and quality. Nachos and sauces were an excellent accompaniment to the food and drinks. Ate here several times on our recent vacation. Morning, afternoon and evening all good!

Dinner was very good. Breakfast buffet was really disappointing. We arrived at 1 on Sunday; it is supposed to run until 3. There was very little food left. What there was was cold and disgusting.

The hamburger with cheese and bacon was excellent! The drinks were great but the most amazing feature was the service. Claire was very attentive to detail and pleasant and Angelica (with a 'C' and not a 'K') came by to check on us frequently and regale us with funny stories. The food was amazing and we will be back soon.

I really like this place, and over the years I have many of their dishes including, steak, fish, burgers, and empanadas. All of them good. They serve nacho chips with three salsas as an appetizer...don't eat so many you are too full for your meal.... my downfall. Love the empanadas, I like to take them back to my suite and... More

Unfortunately we didn't eat there, so we can't comment on the food. But we had some nice cold beers and spent a good hour talking with the very friendly Angelita. The people were so nice and I would recommend this place to anyone who is lucky enough to visit Puerto Morelos

This nice quaint restaurant has a great, friendly staff. The food was not great with the exception of the chicken which was excellent. Beef was chewy and all cooked to the wrong temperatures multiple times. Good effort, but would try a different place. The night we were in town, many restaurants were closed.
