Been here a few times now while visiting family who live local. It's got a good old pub atmosphere to it with its wooden floor table and chairs. There are about ten diffrent types of beer to choose from, ask the bar staff for a taste before you pick one they are more than welcoming in that way, really helpful.

Went for a lunch here with a work colleague. Very relaxed atmosphere, Had a very nice beef sandwich and chunky chips. Good service, nice staff. Very pleasant all round. Would like to try the hustle n bustle of an evening meal or just drinks as it always looks busy when I drive past.

A bit different to the normal pubs with food, the menu has some nice dishes which you do not get in the big chain pubs. Service OK but can become very busy and noisy as you are basically eating in the bar.
