Best faggots I ever tasted. The goat's cheese and cauliflower soup was also delicious. They serve the goat's cheese in a soup bowl and then the waiter pours the cauliflower soup over the top - very nicely done! Service was also excellent. Will definitely return when we are back in the UK.

Called in on a cold October Tuesday. I had dishes from the special menu. The salad was lovely, and the chicken with a chorizo black pudding and chard was very flavoursome. Good country pub atmosphere. One thing, service could be a bit quicker...

Meeting with friends, Great setting- expected meal to match. Staff friendly but meals took an eternity! Forgot the wine order. Food overseasoned. Risotto was too salty to eat- so two of our party ended up with chips! We left early as to get back for babysitter- as the food took so long, partly glad we had to go!

An absolutely lovely and a very tasty lunch, fabulous menu choice with friendly attentive staff. Visited for a friends 40th birthday and to say all 6 guest were pleased with their meals was fantastic. Bread served with all starters and Yorkshire puddings offered with all main course was a bonus, desserts and coffee with Mini cookies also didn't disappoint. In a... More

We regularly visit the White Hart for Sunday lunch and have never been disappointed. It has improved a lot since it first reopened as a restaurant several years ago (and my first review!). The staff are brilliant and the food is delicious. The starters are always of a very high standard and the roast dinners are hearty and tasty. As... More

Delicious lunch. Unpretentious, friendly but not overbearing front of house staff. Intended to call in for a quick lunch and ended up staying for 3 courses. Food was fresh, cooked with care and well presented. My only negative comment, and I'm being really picky here, is that the main course was slightly over-seasoned. I live locally but its worth travelling... More

Passed this place many times. Finally enjoyed Sunday lunch there yesterday. Nice old building with rooms on various levels. Good atmosphere, very smartly dressed and attentive staff. Lovely looking outside area with modern outside furniture and a fire pit for evenings looked very inviting. Sunday lunch on expensive side but this is a cut above the average pub so you... More
