A special evening

Inventive cuisine, a unique dining experience and an evening of culinary delights. Glad I had a chance to visit last year as I hear it is closed this season.

Thank you for your review, for coming to Petraia and for sharing your experience here. Petraia is open again this year for our wine tasting lunches, our popular cooking classes and also for a combo cooking demonstration with a wine tasting lunch. You can find out more details about them all on our website. More

Virtually all of Susan's food is produced on their extensive grounds, including excellent wine. The setting is unmatched for view and ambiance and well worth the effort to get to their property, several... More

Wow, what a special place to experience dinner. The setting over looking Radda in Chianti is so beautiful. The many delicious courses were served outside on the patio as we watched the sun set. Each course was beautifully presented and explained by our server. The wine pairing was perfect. A once in a lifetime experience. Well, hopefuly not, as we... More

La Petraia is a unique and magical hotel and restaurant in the Chianti Hills. The setting is absolutely fabulous, in the midst of an untouched hillside dominating Radda in Chianti and the 'Chiantishire'. The property has been restored with an impeccable taste, real attention to detail, and no expense spared. From the manicured gardens, beautiful linen, Riedel glasses and exquisite... More

This treasure, where they grow practically everything served (except chocolate, coffee and salt, among a very few others), should be visited and enjoyed by anyone who travels to Florence, which is about an hour away by car. Although not easy to get to via smalland twisted roads, it will be an experience that will NEVER be forgotten. The service was... More
