Come for the wine not the food

Wines are ok but good left much to be desired. Lasagne was lack luster , ravioli boring, and tiramisu not worth the calories. The service however was good.

Modern cafe for light dishes and wine. We found it not that nice, not cosy enough. Wine and food both good, staff correct but no real personal atrention. It's on the corner entering radda from Gaiole.

This restaurant caught our eye when we first arrived and parked in Radda. Later in the week we visited for lunch. It was market day so we watched the vendors set up while enjoying a tasty snack. The outside patio is very clean and comfortable and the accompanying tomato and mozzarella salad washed down with a glass of Prosecco, perfect.... More

The weather was great, so we could sit outside and enjoy the small town feeling - a farmer selling vegetables on the market and people passing by. I had a nice tuna salad which was tasty with a small twist to it and hubby had a lasagna which he enjoyed. The dishes were on the smaller side, but fitted us... More

Wine bar/restaurant of a winery on the outskirts of Radda in Chianti. Sister to a much larger place in Florence. Clearly keyed on the motor traffic (adjacent to the largest parking lot in town). Service was good and the food was nice - the prices were a bit high, though. The cheapest thing on the menu might have been the... More

Enjoyed a very nice meal sitting outside on the paito by the square in Radda. Simple menu featuring Tuscan fare. Pasta, Bruschetta and wine were all very good. A nice spot to watch the people go by and enjoy a glass or two of Chianti Classico. Go across the street for gelato - wonderful selection available

Situated on the main square of Radda, this nice little cantinetta is decidedly unpretentious. The decor is modern and friendly, the terrace very nice on a warm day. Service is very friendly and attentive. The menu offers you a short list of the usual suspects: ribolita, crostini, a pasta or two, plus many salads. Nothing exceptional, this is not mama's... More
