Good home cooked meal

We've been to this diner a few times and have found the food to be good both times. Meals are made from scratch so it does take longer. Take the time to enjoy the company while waiting for your food. It's worth the wait. All of our meals were great!

Our food took forty mins before we got it. No explanation of why it was taking so long. I don't know if there is new owners and they just don't get the concept of service or what. The food was good though.

Waited 1 1/2 hours for dinner. Obvious staff issues, particularly cooks. Waitresses are friendly and unfortunately apologetic for cooking staff. Not comfortable anymore. Chicken fingers are now ordered from somewhere else because they are the size of chicken nuggets. Things not doing well here.

The fish and chips are nothing special but The Meatloaf is worth the trip! The helpings are very generous. Great fare at a very reasonable price in a cozy 50's - 60's heartland atmosphere. Sad that I am too full to try the pie!!!!'

The breakfast here are outstanding. The home made sausages should not be missed. It is easy on easy off of #1 Highway and the service was fast and friendly. Great stop for breakfast or I imagine lunch

Awesome food here. Bad boy burger and roast beef sandwich. We both loved it. Best was apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Prices were reasonable. Service was nice. Would def come here again easy

Just an amazing place with superior service, freshly prepared food so it's worth the wait and they accept American express card unlike a few bigger names:)

Small town prairie gem where the food is homemade and you can tell. Lovely, quint and quiet with no television sets. We highly recommend the pie with ice cream.

Early morning bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, toast breakfast special is lovely. Lunch specials are excellent especially the hot turkey sandwich with real turkey!! Meatloaf, like my mom never made, is great too. If you happen to catch the eggs benedict special try it, it is the best!!! Better then some of the fancy restaurants where one would pay $20.00 for the... More
