We were rather disappointed with the food in Phuket - most joints we were to were too touristy offering a variety of western/japanese/russian/italian food with a small Thai selection. Pak Nam was a godsend. Despite its rather remote location, the restaurant was clean and spacious and well equipped with numerous fans. Some of the staff have difficulty with English but... More

... you know this is true when a hushed silence sweeps through the establishment as non-locals enter the premises. And then comes the staring - the locals must be thinking 'dammit, we've been found out!' The food was pretty damn good. A special mention goes to the king prawns in tamarind sauce. So moreish. Our bucks party of 6 demolished... More

This place is hard to find and you wont see many tourists there. It is mainly popular with locals but serves great thai seafood. It is also quite affordable compared. It is busy most of the time with locals and service can be a bit slow.

And other authentic food to the South. It was quite hard to find the restaurant but eventually we found it. No regrets! If we had more time we would... More

We had dinner as a group of 10+ friends, we found very disappointing as the placed was crowed and noisy. We have always love the food here, in fact the food quality still very good but the restaurant has turned into a mess by taking big tourist groups from coaches. The ambience has gone, staff were not enough to service...we... More

I just had dinner with my wife in this Resturant, food was good but the very poor communication skills of the staff led to an un-pleasant experience. If not for the help of the chef it would have been worst.

Hello Readers, Hidden somewhere in Phuket town, this place is mainly for locals as the english from the staff is very limited (and for sure the locals want to keep it this way). Their seafood is one of the best in Phuket (and also in the world in my eyes). Lobster the size of a dog, prawns the size of... More
