Make sure you book first. As earlier reviews have said, this pub has consistently high quality meals. Friendly and attentive staff. Just don't turn up and expect a table as it's normally booked out. Can't really fault it.

A proper gastropub pub. The food was high quality. the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. We were going to turn up early ( 18.30) without a booking but decided to call and only to get in at 18.00. So, do book. overall, high Quality and great value.

It was a busy, buzzing evening when we visited. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive and obviously working very hard. We would probably be discribed as fussy foodies but there was nothing we could fault.

Having heard so many wonderful things about The Richmond Arms, I decided to treat my husband for his birthday. We weren't disappointed...very friendly staff and absolutely beautiful food! What adds to the experience is the atmosphere. We were quite surprised at how busy it was mid-week, but gave the place a real buzz. We had a lovely evening and will... More

We first visited this pub a few weeks ago and it most certainly will not be the last time. The welcome was very friendly and the atmosphere was very convivial. We booked last minute but I would definitely advise booking early as it is very popular.. The food was delicous.

I've eaten from the full menu before which was great but because the restaurant was fully booked we had to go for the wood fired menu. There was nothing wrong with the food .. It was good quality . However, the service and time it took to get food to the table for four people was poor. There was no... More

We sat down at our table at 8:15pm, the restaurant is warm and inviting. We stood at the bar to order our drinks and then we were lead to our table. The menus had something for everybody on it, for starters we had the chorizo scotch egg and the seared yellow fin tuna. Mains were the sticky slow cooked beef... More
